Weird, psychic, metaposing non-verbal communication, at that.

And I deliberately chose Skipper in my example because of the teenage thing. Then again, Barbie was supposed to be 17 for a couple of decades, so....

Doctor Astronaut Supermodel Pastry Chef Forensic Scientist Barbie.

Aw man...he was my neighbor in Hollywood. Took great delight in doing his own yard work.

RE: Dead Celebrities 2021 Edition
@hedgehog Philip was House of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, actually.

If we're going to be super pedantic, he's a Battenberg. He's Mountbatten, she's Windsor, and their male children have the hyphenate Mountbatten-Windsor. Not sure what Anne got as her surname.
But really they're both Gothe-Saxe-Coburg or some shit.

RE: Favorite Youtubers?
Max Miller's Tasting History. Has even gotten my son interested in cooking.
Juno Birch killing off Joy Desprets in various versions of The Sims on her eponymous channel. Also will do makeup tutorials.
IMHO: the Show. In My Homosexual Opinion.
It's local Chicago drag queens reviewing the various iterations of Rupaul's Drag Race. Darby Lynn Cartwright, Aunty Chan, and Alexis P Bevels. The Queer Table. Chicago and northern Indiana Queers discussing various things, hosted by The Vixen and DiDa Ritz.
Camp Wannakiki. The Sugarbaker Twins hosting a contest for camp queens that takes place at a summer camp. Superior to Drag Race because everyone is in drag, not just the contestants. No manufactured drama, either.
Joe Lycett's Got Your Back/Joe Lycett. I have the oddest crush on Birmingham's most famous pansexual benevolent troll.
Hey Qween with Jonny Mcgovern. More drag. Was better before Lady RedCoture died this past summer. Still has all the drag queen interviews, but it's lost the spark she brought.
Lastly, it's not a YouTuber, but the archives of BBC's Riverside programme from the early 80s is glorious. Where else are you going to see the vocalist from Sham 69 doing ballet, unironically.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
Whereabouts in DK are you; Jutland or Zealand? It seemed to me like in KBV and its suburbs it was mostly the modern buildings and tourist attractions were the most accessible, though now that I think about it, a lot of Bakken wasn't.

RE: Sensitivity in gaming
Nope. Breakfast Club. Like, when Bender crawls under the table and breathes (? might have actually involved more, but it cuts away) on Claire's mons/pubis through her underpants and skirt?

@badger
Years ago I bought the Embalming Fluid BPAL at the Muetter. It smells almost exactly like Tokyomilk's Everything and Nothing (which I refuse to believe WASN'T named after a David Sylvian album).

RE: Dead Celebrities 2021 Edition
It was always absolutely criminal and shameful that he was the one who got all the positive media attention (James St. James shamelessly enabled him and profited off of his story, as did the WOW people with the film(s)) and his victim was still being pilloried by other asshole club kids long after the fact.

RE: Set in Manhattan
I personally feel that Danceteria and the Mudd Club, Fiorucci, Bleecker Bob's, Nelson Sullivan, Immaculate Consumptive, Swans, pre-Guilani Manhattan and Tish and Snooky (no, not that one) don't get nearly enough love.
An early-mid '80s WoD game would be amazing. Especially as there'd be no cell phones.

RE: General Video Game Thread
I would also like whomever is responsible for the music licensing payments to get around to actually paying their outstanding invoices. Unfortunately, I think that might be my old boss at Cleopatra and another dude at Lakeshore Music, which is even more personally aggravating and mortifying for me.
My (no longer strictly) internet bestie has two songs on the PEBKAC channel in-game, and has yet to see payment and he delivered well over a year ago.

Harold Budd.
'Ambient' composer.
Collaborated on 'The Moon and the Melodies' with the Cocteau Twins, so a bit of a loss if you're a fan of that sort of sound.

RE: MU Things I Love
Share your secrets with me, wise one. I've felt like a non-entity forever, now. Some of that is burnout and frustration, but I would be lying if the burnout and frustrations weren't tied into perceived reactions/non-reactions from other people. Y'know, that lovely old feedback loop.

Tells you how long it's been since I've been in Dayton. I was firmly convinced that whole little strip mall was in Beavercreek. We always parked by the Chico's to go to Graeter's, usually following a giant dinner at El Mason.
