Has any ever set up a Buffyverse in a really /really/ small town? I'd love to see that played. Population 500 or less, where it's harder to come across all the cool army base things they have in Sunnydale/LA etc. Kind of a stripped down Buffyverse, and far more dangerous for the lack of resources.

RE: Amber: Why Can't I Quit You
I've always wanted to set something in the Courts of Chaos. I think that sounds pretty 'new' in terms of Amber while still retaining the same world and vibe.

And now this. Twitch is trying to pull down the clips as fast as they can. But just... I hate people right now.
Shot heard, camera faded before, but apparently could see a laser going over heads right before.
The podcast was awful.

The sadness that is Urban Decay discontinuing their original Naked palette
HOWEVER, if you're looking to grab one/stock up, Macy's is basically the only place left with any in stock. If you're in Canada, you can't order online (unless you have an American credit card or American PayPal account). You need to call them (1-800-289-6229) and order that way.
Edit: also, if you're in Canada, you need to have a US address to send it to

RL Anger: when I put on a skirt and a nice top, some lipstick and mascara and I get "Ooh what's his name?"
When did it become the law that you have to dress up for anyone other than yourself? Fuck you mom.

Because you're one of those crazy planning people, who plans. I bet you even have a GANTT chart for your character. You...planner...you.
Hah! I don't, but I do have a type of meter that keeps track of certain events and I use it to partially determine reactions and actions of the character.

MU thing I love: constructing elaborate IC plans.
I love PLANS. Each step, each little nuance that needs to be addressed to make something cohesive. Finding the people that fit in to each role, finding the information that supports each action of each person. And then at the end? Just letting it all go to the roll of the dice and seeing if you were a good planner
The perfect balance of control freak and (mostly) random chance.

MUers who go above and beyond, IC and OOC, and you know you can count on them to help with an event, to run a PrP, to bounce ideas for plot, and to just generally deliver stellar RP time after time. You know who you are

RE: Mushing and Dating/Relationships
I have tried twice. I have failed twice. Everything looks so good in text and photos and talking long distance over the phone etc. Meeting in person is where it all fell apart. You can't force physical chemistry.
It would be nice to date someone who was into MUing. Maybe. But I'm not convinced that's not just a wishful thinking theory.

RE: Plot session duration
As much as I'll run one-offs for people (2-3 hrs max unless there's a lot of players) I far prefer running PrP arcs of 4-5 scenes at 2-3 hrs each. I find that there's more opportunity and creativity in ongoing plot and that players get more involved, can find more to latch on to and run with. You can world-build to a greater extent, and give them something really immersive to interact with.

RE: @Arx: Anonymous Messengers (Answered)
Yeah, women take way more shit (mostly from other women) for anything at all than men do, on the game.

RE: @Arx: Anonymous Messengers (Answered)
I think something similar is in the works with Crime when it comes it. But if there was an anonymous messenger function, there would have to be a way for the receiving PC to track it, if they wanted, and it would have to cost a proportional amount to send it.

Went to try and share some clues, the 6 AP per clue thing sucks hard.
But hell... I guess it does it's purpose.
Wish I had 100's of clues
I have like... 30 maybe.
You can buy up certain stats to lower the amount of AP clue-sharing costs (in case you didn't know)

RE: Arx: @clues
If you've got clue envy, the best thing to do is go out and RP and get more clues. There's lots of people who will clue-share with joyful abandon (I'm one of them!) over a series of scenes. You just have to find those people, and RP with them about something you're interested in. Sure, there are people who will horde and not share. But even if you encounter them, you're still getting RP, and isn't that the point? Join an @org and work your way up the ranks to get access to their clues! There's so many ways to combat clue envy!
