@kay I will totally drag Denver over there if you wanted her to come.
incoherent gleeful noises YOU ARE SO ON! I thought you weren't interested in other games! Absolutely yes!

Re SimpleMU, I genuinely tried other clients when it was no longer supported, I really tried. But...
Slowed down a little bit because RL work was kicking my ass, we're back on track and I have a bit of vacation about to come up where I'm hoping to get some Icons game testing done to see how well it actually works in an online environment.
Some more thoughts: I am going to copy one of Crucible City's rules once I find it in my old logs. Superheroes only, which I think everyone already had assumed, but there's also some specifics in there about being actively heroic that I remember really liking.
@ganymede said in Let's talk about TS.:
Jake the One-Eyed Trouser Snake.
The Flesh Spear of Destiny.
Russell the Milk-Spitting Muscle.
Misplaced Baby Fist.
Squirtle.I can keep going, I guess.
I feel you should! Extra points if it could also be the name for a D&D weapon or artifact.
So currently looking at taking my Changeling alt Ida on here (I am Ida@here!) and there's a whole bunch of other Darkwater characters coming too. I'm also already plotting out an alt because I am clearly mad, and leaning towards making her the first vampire I've played in almost two decades. Probably Mekhet, definitely a scholarly type with some kind of enormous library. I'd like to spin her towards being a resource for as many people as possible, including non-vamps, will see how that turns out.
Alpha is being very promising. I love the rough write ups for theme I've seen so far, and staff seems very friendly and approachable.
@tempest As one of the people who's gone from 'here's my weird idea what do you guys think' to 'In construction! Hammering out x y z!' entirely because I posted my idea in the development forum, I have not found this to be the case. The feedback I got was very helpful, and it also got me people popping out of the woodwork offering to assist (including a potential coder!) that I would never have made contact with otherwise. tl;dr If I hadn't posted on MSB, it would still only be an idea in my head.
ETA @RizBunz - I never got to vote but for what it's worth I thought it sounded like a very fun idea. Whenever you do decide it's time to develop it further please put up a notice, I'd love to see more.
@arkandel Yeah, exactly. I think of TS stuff in games like hot spices - if you're not careful it will overwhelm everything else and you end up with something one note and boring.
Mildly constructive spirit, go! Much appreciation to OP for uploading the chart.

I am amazed that the game is in alpha. I have been on games that were officially fully open and done that had less stuff together than these guys.
As someone who has English as their second language, what does player buy-in mean, please?
@calibraxa Yes, within a few days/hours and Changeling. What's going on?
I'm confused by your post. Are you looking for help with anything?
@taika Instead of doing the 77 neighborhoods, I'd recommend going with the bigger nine districts of the city to start with. You can always add specific points of interest.
I'm super excited. I love cyberpunk and I am a big fan of everything Richard K Morgan has written, so I am all over this. Hurrah!
@Atomic I was She-Hulk on the original Crucible City, we were an all OC superhero game that used M&M. I've been looking for an all OC superhero game for forever. I'm not a huge fan of superhero school setting style games, I'd prefer more of a big city or whole planet setting with your friendly neighborhood supers etc, but I'd still be happy with this given the OC superhero goodness.
