I'm in character generation on this game, making my bit Lucrezia who's going to be the Head of House of House Ganza. Other players on the game have been very friendly, staff is very fast to respond and I love the setting and theme.

I'm excited to report that a) Lucrezia is in the final room of chargen (I think this is a speed record for me) and b) I got to talk with the one other existing member of House Ganza last night, Matilde, and she is on board with my ideas for the House. So Valorous' Dominion's own Addams Family/Lovecraft flavored House is go! Tonight after work I'm going to finish the family crest.

Oh and finish chargen I guess

ETA: Oh and the place is starting to jump. I'm seeing fairly regular numbers of 20+, and people are mainly active and on grid from what I see. Also still very friendly and nice OOC vibe.

@thenomain You nailed it. I don't know why but sometimes the upvotes thing (on any website) does make me hesitate when it's about a situation where someone is hurt etc, because it feels like throwing in a thumbs up gif. "I APPROVE OF AND REJOICE IN YOUR MISERY MWAHAHA mustache twirl MMMYES" I know that's not how it actually comes across of course.

@cobaltasaurus Remember what I said when you first mentioned needing to end the game: we had all thought this was long since dead and gone. You brought it back and gave us several months worth of following up with old characters and their stories. More importantly for me personally, on an OOC level, you gave me the chance to reconnect with some amazing people that I'd lost touch with.

You didn't let me down. I mean of course we all would have liked to end the game with the big finale, but again: RL comes first. Your health and happiness and all that OOC stuff comes before any game.

If possible, can the wiki for the game stay up for a bit? I know of at least one player that had taken a vacation and hadn't come back yet before the closing was even discussed, and I am not sure they even know of MSB, so it would be nice to have a way for them to find this and maybe reconnect with the rest of us. Some players have moved on to other games, but there's a little group of us that are talking about going to the Miami reboot of Fallcoast when that happens.

I guess three is my magic number. I would make three attempts total (direct page, @mail, etc) to arrange for RP. After about three days or so I would be fairly certain that the other person for whatever reason was not interested in this bit of RP, and would start making plans to move on, would start making contacts with other characters just in case etc. I would still give the original person one week (after my first attempt) to RP before actually moving on.

@Cobaltasaurus what price point are you looking for? I don't have connections but I seem to have really good online search fu as far as plane tickets go.

@darc Yay wiki! No worries re: xp, I'm not at all concerned about my xp matching up, I would be happy to start from scratch in that sense! I just want to continue my character's story and I know some games don't allow you to play characters you've also played elseMU*. I was playing her on Darkwater (much love to @Cobaltasaurus !) which unfortunately had to close a little while ago. If you're ok with that there might be a small group of us coming in, and we're all pretty active to very active players, and also happy to run plots etc, so not a clique.

@secretfire I bailed for that reason too. I was so excited thinking it was a James Bond spy game. :C I thought we'd get to do political intrigue and epic fisticuffs on moving trains and all that fun stuff.

Minor update: we are currently actively brainstorming through both discord and a steadily growing Google doc, and things are looking really promising.

Is it ascii and ansi compatible? I can already visualize the horrible things characters will send each other.

@lemon-fox I could do modern day with a slight alternative reality/cyberpunkish twist to allow for things like SCIENCE! and such, depending on the exact setting I end up with. I usually like d) all of the above when faced with multiple choices.
