I was told I would have to have a cpap for forever. I have some weird hiccup in my brain where I forget to breathe. I'm so brilliant that I forget to breathe. The first thing I asked my doc was how much weight did I have to lose to not have to use it and he laughed at me. No matter how thin I get, it doesn't matter. I couldn't deal with the congestion and getting tangled in it constantly. I move a lot in my sleep. I'd rather croak I guess.

I just assume people are going to read whatever I write eventually. I have had a lot of really terrible TS logs passed into my hands over the years. A lot of the smarmy things people say about each other. Just a lot of things I didn't want to see but had to read because...how could I not?!

On Shadowed Isles we all knew the owners were spying. They put the blame on their coder but man, those bitches were crazy and lied all the time anyhow.

Staff can say they don't spy. Maybe they don't. Maybe they do. You'll likely never know. Beyond that, maybe your rp partner is sharing your love of toe sucking with the world. So before you let someone textually tie you up and call them Daddy, maybe check yourself to see if that would be a big deal to you.

@Ghost I know you have. And I know you've gotten shit for stuff that was totally not your fault. I've seen that with some others too when I was active. I can't even give a solid example but a lot of times we aren't willing to give people the benefit of the doubt. We hear someone's a douche canoe and so we repeat it or cut them out without even a least a shred of evidence.

It all almost boils down to who's a dick. Is this person a dick? Yes but he or she is super popular and active! Hm. Are they really? Or are they just supported by other dicks who are super loud? Are they active getting stuff done or are they active in a circle jerk? It's kind of nuanced sometimes. In the end it seems that really it's the loud awful wheels who get the grease and it's off putting to others who would rather quietly bow out.

Yes, often these games have a level of social politics that go with them and shutting people out of things is a way to get ahead. So the whole clique thing is a tough call. We all have seen the complaints of 'I can't find rp'. We've likely almost all complained as well. I don't see many solutions presented to the problem though.

I understand where @Misadventure is coming from. Speaking in absolutes isn't really a good way to go about saying things. You may end up being hurtful to someone who's been on the other side of shit. I used to staff and things like all staffers eat puppies and are evil can get to be old really quick when you're doing your level best to be fair and awesome.

As for the killing of idle players? That's some bs. Sometimes I would walk from a game to regroup. Why do I want to get onto the place where the people are making me crazy and hash things out for no good reason? If you're not in the middle of a plot or important in a big way, why would this even be done? Even if you are, then staff explains why you're out of touch and you have to live with that if you return. Done.

Knowing that my best friend is having a hard time but I can't get to her to help. Her house flooded. Her car flooded. But I can get on the freeway to get to her but I can't get off of it because the roads to her part of town are all closed. Hope all my other Texans are doing ok!

The best boob moments on Mus were from back when descs mattered and some dude would be pretending to be a girl. Petite, 110 pounds, size 46DDD boobs. I'd always be like psst hey bro, numbers are the band size. You actually want that smaller. 46DDD isn't that big, boob wise and no tiny girl would wear that. I'm always tickled to know this game is still around. I'm into WoD because of CS. CS lead me to The Dreaming, then Emerald Dreams, and it all went downhill from there. Man. Shout out to Penumbra. She was my CS hero.

I'm going to make a game. You get 300 xp to start. You can't gain xp. Every one will get random xp given to them for whatever reason I feel like but it will stay somewhere between normal and reach level of total xp. New characters will come in at the same xp. If you're Spider, you're banned because I said so, that's why. You can spend your xp on whatever because I don't want to read your stupid justifications. It'll be set in a real city, none of these bullshit towns. There will be plot or something. Once a day all the mortals will break into a song and dance number declaring how everyone is awesome and just how great it is to be part of a team. TS logs that aren't lame will get you some sort of reward.

I know, you're all excited about this but calm down. Just get in line. It's going to be amazing.

No really, I don't know how people make games. It's a lot of work and it just gets you hated by vocal haters. As much as I hate on SI, MedNights and persistence of memory, there were so many fun times with awesome people.
