Pat Carroll I saw her first in an old version of Cinderella my stepmother used to make me watch, but I loved her best as the voice of Ursula in the little Mermaid.

I just got home and saw the news. I am sad. She was a brave woman. (You KNOW people said nasty things after 'the kiss' )

@Derp Corrections & Clarifications: An obituary for “Leave It to Beaver” actor Tony Dow was published in error. Dow’s representatives initially confirmed his death to USA TODAY by email after sharing the news in a Facebook post that has since been deleted. USA TODAY has reached out to his representatives for more information.

My shoulder is on fire, and I have to take Logan to the vet and wrangle him today. I am already feeling super anxious about it. Not because he won't behave. I'm just afraid of what they'll tell me.

@Ganymede I love running karaoke events. I used to help my dad dj and do such things. But when he decided it was too much work, he sold all the equipment, so..

I used to bounce at a bar. (Which always makes people give me a second look, because I am not all that imposing looking) But back then, I had all the strength, and all the practice with how to put someone into a ...position to be moved, shall we say, without breaking their arm, etc. (My brother practiced on me when he was in police academy, and then my stepmother needed to practice when she was going to be working as a... guard type in a juvenile facility. The kids where she was were the hard core cases. Murder and shit)

    • RE: Wish Fulfillment RP

I mean, I play characters over 5'5". For me that's pretty much wish fulfillment. But I play a lot of comic games, so.. yeah. I'm just a short little bitch in chronic pain, so I guess all RP for me is?

@silverfox You and your husband are amazing for this. I know it's just the prelim paperwork, but there are so many kids who need decent people to just.. show them some civility, and some kindness.

I have friends who do it, and it's been chaos at times, but they say it's rewarding.

    • RE: How can we incentivize IC failure?

I think the problem some players run into, is that they're more than willing to be 'part of the team' like you do in TT, but then they end up in scenes with players who.. aren't. It makes it hard to do anything impactful when someone else is always going in, guns blazing.

@devrex Can I just say I love you for playing Coulson? A good Coulson is AMAZEBALLS.

    • RE: Don't Join Discord Servers!!!

Happened to me and a bunch of people I play with across a bunch of different games. We all got invited to a "Baymax" server by people we knew in the hobby.

I looked at the 'verify' request and went' "Nope." Messaged my friend who invited me, telling him I wasn't doing that, and he was like "OMG I got hacked!"

      And he wasn't alone.

    • RE: Mourning a character, how do you do it?

@hella I mean, I've read a few interviews from Pros, who when they have to let a character go, they will sit, have a drink/toast to, write down the things they liked least/best, and/or have a bit of a cry.

@hella I heard this a while back, and I actually enjoyed it. But I refuse to hate Nickelback for writing catchy songs that are formulaic as F, so.. YMMV

@ganymede I legit posted a dumb, silly, what I thought was fun meme.

      Addams.jpg

Because yes, for years, I felt like Gender didn't matter to them. You love who you love. And I felt like Morticia gave out bi vibes. But she and Gomez are completely, totally 100 percent all in on each other.

I was told no no no. They have to be straight. We need them to be straight because there's no other relationships in mainstream media that don't have the man outright loving his wife. (Like.. say what?)

Another straight male "Like, it doesn't even make sense. Wouldn't "thriving bisexuals" be living out their full sexuality instead of hiding it? I don't get how this is supposed to track, or how appropriating the Adams Family for bi culture would do any good." Because somehow being in a loving, hetero and monogamous relationship means you're... not bi?

And neither of them could see any reason for why my POV might be valid, or see why I might need to see what I see.

@il-volpe I very much needed this today, after making a post about bisexual energy from a fictional couple, and having a straight white male rage at me for it. Oi.
