@Ganymede So I sent a message to the management company, asking for someone to contact me. It went right to the office bitch. Who proceeded to email me and talk down to me about if I 'needed it explained better, I could come into the office" - she knows I work a longer shift, and she is gone before I clock out. So I called her. She's now getting her supervisor in touch with me. AKA I told her that since I had not signed the renewal, and my roommates KNEW I had not, I do not need their permission to be released from said lease. I need to submit in writing my intention to terminate for me and me alone, on xyz date.

@Ganymede I can't even get into the new place until July, so giving notice is not an issue.

@Ganymede I never got a key, so that's not a problem. I mean.. I can literally write something up saying I am abandoning the lease as of XYZ date, and that terminates the lease? And yeah, they can make an extra grand a month if I go to the new place.

okay, so when we originally set up the lease, they lumped the three of us into an account. My name is on that account. I'm looking at the renewal form, and there are two areas. Renewal, non renewal. Under renewal, my two roommates signed. I did not. But I did not sign under non-renewal either ( I never even SAW this document, I was dealing with my father's death because we got this in late Jan/Early Feb). So I don't know what, if any, options I have, other than deal with this bs, pay the 20 bucks and try to get out. (My one roommate makes more than enough on his own to qualify)

@Auspice She says because I signed the original lease, I'm still considered a lease holder. Which doesn't SOUND right to me. I'm trying to reach the local legal aid office, but their hold times are long.

Another part of the problem is she states that I'm stuck, and the complex I applied at, is run by the same management company. So... yeah. Rough.

AND she states the other two original lease holders would have to release me, pay a 20.00 requalifying fee and requalify to live here.

Grr. This may work up to RL anger, but right now I'm just super annoyed. Our lease renewal showed up in March. I did not have my name listed as a lease holder, and I did not sign it, because everyone in the house knew I want to move out (with the new ouch auto immune stairs suck, and climbing two flights of stairs to pee and shower is painful). I find a new place I love, fill out all my information...and then the office manager for my current townhouse says No, you're stuck in the lease. Even though you didn't sign it, and even though your name is absent from the list of lease holders.

I am not pleased. I find this super sketchy and negligent on her part, for not noticing I DID NOT sign it.

I had no idea constant sleepiness could be a symptom! Today, though, was a squirrel day. Swear I did something, then blink and it's been 5 minutes and the thing isn't actually finished.

That feeling of satisfaction when someone is an asshole, and you see what their behavior is going to cause, predict it, and watch it happen.

Seriously, if your office is open until 5, your phones should probably not be turned to voicemail/after hours at 3. I doubt all three people in the office had some sort of emergency, so wtf

i am pissy at my boss. She's mad because I had a sugar crash, which was caused by her sending an IT ticket for a problem I had, instead of letting me handle it, and the helpdesk moron called me when I should have been going to lunch. This is after the problem with the internet this morning, where she wouldn't let me try a 5 minute solution versus waiting on hold for 45 for helpdesk.

My parents thought there was something wrong with me as a kid. They sent me to the psych office of my elementary school, and they told them that I was just bored, and that I needed to be in GaT. But they put me in that in the middle of the year, so I was completely at sea. My problem was hyper focus on the things that interested me, and not doing shit with things that didn't, which doesn't work with school, unfortunately. But they never diagnosed me as ADD or ADHD, and that behavior just kept on going all the way through school. They sent me to the psych in high school again, because I was 'too rebellious and defiant" and other basic shit. Hours of telling this guy my life story later, He told them that considering everything that had happened (mom dying in front of me as a kid, abusive stepmother/stepgrandmother, etc), they should be thankful I was so 'close to normal as any teenager gets'. - Still no ADD diagnosis. That didn't even come up until my senior year, taking classes in psychology, the professor suggested I might be. One headphone on and music later, everything came so much easier. The school wouldn't allow it, though, so I kept getting in trouble. But I used one earphone in college, and the music gave me enough mild distraction without too much, that I could focus on my notes and learn, even if the subject bored me.

When I told my father (who also thought I was a slacker and a fuck up) that I was diagnosed finally, he told me I was full of shit (he was an abusive drunk fuck who should join those other dads in the well, until he had a heart attack and stopped drinking. It's amazing how people change when they get sober.).

My current job, when it gets slow and I get distracted by reading or my phone, the beep in my headset scares the shit out of me because I get so focused on what I WANT to be doing. But when I'm on the call, I can talk to the provider, and pull up all the stuff, and I'm in enough windows and programs that I can stay focused.

When you've had a couple crappy, stressful days, and your housemate offers you shrimp scampi pasta so you don't have to cook. It's the little things, most days.

I'm just so angry at my body.

@Auspice Apparently that is a LB thing. Did it to me and my sister (neither of us are 40+ band). And you know, I'm proud of my boobs, but I am NOT a DDD, either. (thank the gods, I have enough problems with them)

It's that the fibro has days where anything constricting or slightly not silky soft is a huge no. Now they think my ribs are starting to slowly fuse, which is why constriction aches. No idea.
