RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
@auspice I will say this. The DSC saved me from the overspending on products that get price-jacked beyond belief for women. I will recommend getting the shave butter to go with the razor (though it DOES have a moisture strip on it!), if only because it has worked far, far better than any shaving soap, cream, spray, etc. that I have found. And it doesn't take much, like a nickel size dollop covers a whole leg. So the 6 oz bottle lasts for MONTHS. And occasionally they run sales, which make it a great time to grab a few extras so you can just sit on it and just get your monthly razor shipment. Also, if you find you start stockpiling blades? You can defer the shipments for a few months with a couple clicks, then they'll just send you out the next shipment on your usual date the month you tell it to resume. But I've found 1 blade per week is pretty much on par.

Firefox: Cick on the triple horizontal lines in the upper righthand corner of the browser, then click Options, click on the Advanced Tab on the lefthand side, under Cached Web Content header click the button on the right that says Clear Now. Then refresh MSB.Google Chrome: Click the triple horizontal lines in the upper righthand corner. Click on settings. Click on Advanced Settings at the bottom of the page. Under the Privacy heading, click Clear Browsing Data.
Internet Explorer: Click on the gear (Tools) in the upperrighthand corner of the browser. Click Internet Options. And here's where I'm unsure. I -believe- n the General tab, you may just need to delete your Browsing history. Then refresh MSB. If that doesn't work, there's one other thing you can try. On the Content tab, there's an AutoComplete header, you may need to click the Settings and clear that out. After that, I'm not sure what else to suggest. I tend to not use IE, I really dislike it personally, but one of those SHOULD work.
After you've cleared the cache and refreshed MSB, click on your profile pic in the upper righthand corner of the MSB page. Click on your name. Click on Settings. Then pick the skin you like from the dropdown box. You can preview all of them by clicking on them. Go through til you find one you like. Hit Save Changes down at the bottom of the page.

RE: Dust to Dust (Formerly the nWoD grenade thread)
@Arkandel You misquoted. I didn't say that. I'm -against- Staff ST's gaining xp for doing their staffly duties.
And player-run plots are JUST as important as staff plots, in their own way. It can take weeks or months to build up a really good sphere/meta plot arc. In that interim, player run plots help to fill that void while staff work up the next round of Dire Threat to Everything. PRP's helped to keep people active and interested in plot stuffs between large arcs. And that is why it was originally decided that players would get xp for running such things. Where it fell through was when Staff ST's started running staff plot through their player bits so they too could get xp (i.e. they gamed the system). Rather than put a stop to it, ALL plot ended up in player hands and the Staff ST position all but disappeared from existence. Which was a terrible thing, since staff plot then largely disappeared as well. Nobody wanted to be a Staff ST and take the time away from their character to run a plot as a perk-less job when they could run multiple smaller plots from their character bits and get xp from it.

RE: General Video Game Thread
Asuran race!!
But seriously, the human home world is probably the most... dynamic. Its where most of the 'seasonal' events take place. Wintersday, Chinese New Year, pretty sure the V-Day even is based there... but the Halloween event is all Lion's Arch.

RE: Good TV
I'm probably late to this party but... The Orville has been surprisingly good! A great mix between drama and comedy with just enough kinda romantic subplot to keep things interesting.

RE: Ignore
@ThatOneDude You know under the 2nd method (the use technology one), it suggests blocking the person from your social networks. Which this would be one of.

RE: Cheap or Free Games!
Stardew Valley is SUPER addictive... fun if you like low fantasy simulations! And I only say low fantasy because magic seeds and weird little colored 'fairies'(?) that do magic things... and the wizard in the tower. Otherwise its largely just normal people living in a town, helping you start a farm.

RE: RL Anger
@aria The last place I worked, I tried doing that. And I was told it was 'unprofessional'. Hence my grr-ness over it. Thankfully, this new job I just accepted? Jeans, hoodies, steeltoes. I get to be COMFORTABLE again! And get paid more.

RE: RL things I love
This is like my saving grace. For DECADES I have had to listen to people nag at me for not eating breakfast. 'Its the most important meal of the day!' 'It will kickstart your metabolism!' None of which help when I can only respond with 'I'm sorry but I really am just NOT hungry in the morning AT ALL'. And I don't mean that kind of 'not hungry' where you could actually stand to eat a little... I mean, I wake up feeling full and eating in the morning risks putting me into the 'I'm now tired and slow from having overeaten' category. A cup of coffee and a bottle of water to sip on through the morning is really all I need. Lunch is when I'll start eating.

However, in the end, more original theme, sci fi that's not Firefly/SW/ST would also be a breath of fresh air.
I would love a Space Fantasy Opera setting--but really high-powered. Exalted in Space, if you will.

RE: RL Anger
So. We've been car hunting for awhile now, cause Mister Demeanor's car has been on its last legs for a few months now. We finally got a car all picked out, got insurance, we're supposed to pick up the car today. 9am sharp, we're at the dealership. Nobody there. I try to call the guy we're working with, goes to voicemail. Oh hey! Apparently he's on vacation and decided not to say anything! LOVELY. We walk around to the back building. HOORAY! A MANAGER! We speak to her. She doesn't recognize my name as purchasing this car. Looks me up... can't find anything on the deal this guy is supposed to have brokered with us. Mister Demeanor and I spent 2 and a half hours sitting around as they struggle to recreate this deal. I have to go to work, Mister Demeanor has to go to work. FUCK. I come back after work, bring ALL the necessary paperwork, spend another THREE HOURS working on this thing. Turns out, we can't get the car we were originally going to get. The one we have already purchased insurance for. SIGH
(Mind, in the end, I got a NEWER car than the original for not much more per month, but still! ALL DAY spent on this bullshit!)

Anyone else notice that @Jaunt pulled a Spider with the picking just enough to cause an explosion then standing back and playing the 'high road' card? Or the use of 'well-meaninged'? I gotta admit, that bugs me more than the trolling. Not a real word.

RE: Livia's playlist.
@livia I played a few different people! Dita, Alexis, and Odie all had contact with the pack at one time or another! Dita was in it!

RE: Good or New Movies Review
Murder on the Orient Express was fucking amazing. Man I love Agatha Christie stories so hard, and they make such good movies!
