Sounds almost like FS3 type system. Most of those type games I've been on, I think all of them had open sheets. I remember the first one I was on, Steel and Stone, it was a bit weird...but eventually, you stop even bothering to look. The novelty wore off after a week or so. Or at least, that was my experience.

Did you like Squall or something?
Whatever.
Oh, and while I'm thinking about it. Does anyone care about and/or play the DA: I multiplayer? I ask simply because I need to actually stop hating it and actually /play/ it. I loved ME3's multiplayer and played that shit to death. But there's such a steep learning curve in the DA: I's, the one day I put real effort into it, it was just death after death after death.
This might've been changed since I last played it back in January. Anyhow, if anyone plays the Xbox One version of it, let me know.

RE: RL things I love
SGDQ, or Summer Games Done Quick. It's a week long, 24 hour speedrunning marathon that raises money for charity. I lose about a week of my life watching this twice a year. It just started, so if any of you have this odd(read: sick)fascination with watching people break the shit out of games by seeing how fast they can beat them, you can watch here.
I love this shit, I have no idea why.

RE: Fantasy MU*s?
@Songtress I always thought Tavi was the one person who did more with less, since up until the last two books, he didn't or couldn't do jack with his furies. He always came off as a tactical genius than anything else.

RE: Fantasy MU*s?
Secondary thought: what about a game based on Codex Alera series?
That's always sorta been my 'white whale' dream MU, personally. Well, one of them, anyways.

Clearly I need to get off my ass and make that Witcher game if Fantasy is so in demand.
Yes. Yes you do.

@Tempest Me neither. What is this about?

RE: Anyone want to ST for Changeling?
@ThatGuyThere I think the game borders in the 15-20 area. Maybe a little more from what I've been told.
And I love the CG on this game. I'm really enjoying how simplistic it is and how it easy it is to get through CG. Nothing complicated, but not a lot of frills. A pretty simple and straightforward CG. I guess, since I asked, the CG was built to be as painless as possible.
I like this game a lot so far. I think if the game ever opened a Mage sphere, it'd be perfect(for me, anyways), but I'm pretty sure it's specifically Changeling.

RE: Anyone want to ST for Changeling?
Just poked my head in there. While I'm still not sold on playing Fallcoast, this place may end up being more my speed. Always liked smaller games, or at least games that doesn't border in the 100s.
And I can vouch that staff appears pretty friendly.

RE: The Flame of Darkness (Marvel Universe RP Game)
@Roz Huh, odd. When I logged in it said something about there not being a Guest channel. Maybe I misread.
Again, just shows that MOOs and I do not tend to get along. However, I do agree with you on the wiki being hard on the eyes. That could use a bit of polish.

RE: The Flame of Darkness (Marvel Universe RP Game)
Logged on for a bit, but I was first surprised by the lack of a Guest channel. If you can't even talk to anyone or have questions, it felt like being hampered pretty quickly.
Also, I have something of a distaste for MOOs, mostly because I don't like how how they work and their command syntax, but that's mostly personal preference.
Good luck with the game though.

RE: Good TV
Been meaning to watch Sense8.
I also want to watch the new season of True Detective. Just finished watching the first season for the first time last Friday, while it was my gf's first time watching it. She said she felt pretty dirty after watching the last episode.

RE: Witcher MUSH Brainstorm (SPOILERS)
@Rook Honestly, just play on 2 and 3. I did. A lot of the stuff they reference in conversation I've noticed comes more from the books .

RE: Witcher MUSH Brainstorm (SPOILERS)
@FiranSurvivor Finished it just an hour ago. Worth the time in not spoiling myself. Best game I've played in probably the last two years or so. As much as I love Dragon Age, this was the game it tired so hard to be in terms of scale and grandness, yet couldn't quite cross the finish line.

Now its starting to sound like Harry Potter but with tits, swords, and monsters.... Hm.
Yeah, I'll go along with everyone else and say this is exactly something I'd play.

RE: Witcher MUSH Brainstorm (SPOILERS)
I really want to read this thread, because I would be all about a Witcher MU, but goddamnti I'm still only about 10 hours into the game, and I really don't want to ruin anything for myself.

RE: What Do You Love About WoD?
@HelloRaptor Personally, I love futuristic settings, but I also not really a big fan of Star Trek or Star Wars, so I'm more or less hindering myself(which yeah, I know)in what to play. Was playing BSG Deimos, liked it, then it just up and fizzled out. Which was a shame.
I'd probably play Dark Age WoD, if only because I have fond memories of it from TT sessions.
In the end, it's odd. I like supernatural stuff, I think just the /way/ the theme is set up in WoD is a turn off. But, I'd be lying to myself if I'm not tempted to try anyways out of desperation.
-
RE: What Do You Love About WoD?
I wish I could get interested in WoD, but I can't. I don't know what it is, maybe it's the fact that it's modern day, and that tends to hold next to zero interest for me(because I live in modern day and I can just go outside if I wanted that), or perhaps that I just never had an interest in conflict or struggle of WoD-related supernaturals.
It's also possible that I simply don't have the desire to read a massive core book and/or supplements that I don't have. Which is odd because I remember back in the day when I played oWoD TT, I enjoyed it. I don't know what the disconnect is.
In any case, it's sad, and mildly frustrating. Because the majority of(active)MUs out there are WoD. I want to play it, just for something to do, but I just can't get excited for it.

I don't particularly care one way or another if you don't want to endorse non-authorized GoT games on your game. What I care about is your behavior and statements towards anyone that dares to have or play on one of those games. You've taken some fairly vaguely worded statements from GRRM, some of them pretty damn old statements, and turned them into a verbal crusade against non-authorized GoT games that you're undertaking on his behalf. Without his consent, and likely without his knowledge. I'm not claiming you've attempted to shut down non-authorized games, I've never played on a GoT game or even really know anyone that has, to make that kind of statement. But your behavior and statements in this thread have been pretty clear-cut and outspoken against those games. Rather than promoting your game for its rich stories or in-depth characters, you promote it for being 'authorized'. You've based the whole of your marketing campaign for your game on that one fact. Your statements about non-authorized games have been in the same vein as slut-shaming, and that in and of itself is shameful. Insisting that your game is the only 'right' game because you have permission is pompous, arrogant, and conceited.
