I also barely held off on posting a diabeetus gif in response.

Sounds pretty hippy to me. The churches in my home county probably would have had actual protestors outside of that church 24/7.

Like trade agreements and naval strategy.
Sorry, not sorry, if you're RPing with me you may be dragged into a political matter.
I will only accept this if the discussion of trade agreements or naval strategy includes a bit of banter and possible euphemisms, such as "quid pro quo," "booty," "masthead," "boarding party," "ramming speed," and "I have wood for sheep." (Get a nice Catan reference in there.)

One thing I have become very aware of after working in the jail is the amount of antisemitism amongst the whole inmate population, particularly among African Americans. I had no idea Black Hebrew Israelite was a thing.

RE: D&D One-Shot Idea
The Other Games forum might be the appropriate forum, but honestly MSB has too many separate forums to be honest.
As for your idea, it sounds like a good silly game. What questions do you have?

I am imagining Randolph P. Checkers from Space Station 13 fame, playing as a chef and frying up rat sushi rolls.

This has been the case at every place I have worked that has had a staff of more than like 50 people. Though, you're case is a bit different in that it specifically is directed at lesbians. In my workplaces it's always been "<Disliked employee> is getting away with <world-ending workplace injustice> because he/she is fucking <person with power>."

Ahhhh, none of my therapists over the years have had psychiatrists they work with, so that's really nice. Still, it takes me like 5 to 6 sessions to get comfortable enough with a new therapist to actually start getting anywhere, so for me jumping ship would be my first option, but I definitely understand the reluctance.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
Do you have any way of reaching out to your previous therapist to see if they have landed on their feet somewhere that you can follow?

- When you contacted them, did you verify that this is a file that they will release to you? In many jurisdictions, criminal investigations are not subject to release under public records laws for various reasons, and are frequently denied on those grounds.
My assumption from the post was that it was the court records, not the investigation records.
- Is the $20 the entire fee, or just the initial fee? Many places charge 10+ cents per page to offset additional costs if they have to produce a physical file, and you won't know that until they've counted the pages and determined the charges.
That is true.

There's no solution to this problem.
Actually your post contains a very modest solution.

RE: What Types of Games Would People Like To See?
Huh. There's an idea. Though, I would think it would get boring quick. Have you tried watching a bunch of M*A*S*H at once? After the third hour, you're hoping Hawkeye fucks up the heads coming off the still and accidentally drinks methanol.

Unknown Armies meets Cultist Simulator?

I had an video interview last Monday with some people in California. Button-down, suit jacket, and tie on top. Colorful beach shorts and flip-flops on the bottom.

Please let me know if anything is on fire.
Can we get a server reset on 2020? Maybe upgrade some of the hardware and run a malware sweep? It's been on fire for a while now.

Can you be both? I have a variety of interests but rigid adherence to routines.

RE: Welcome to the Euphoria!
Yeah I tried to get a feel for the style of the game when @Cobaltasaurus asked for builders. Is this 1970s everything runs on analog, Alien? Star Wars? Star Trek? BSG? What's the feel of the setting? Dystopian? Utopian?

I really like the Poirot movies. Haven't read the books, though.

So apparently creative-writing, single-player RPGs are a thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COJcWFf0H3U
I figured this might be something up the alley of a lot of folks here.
