Hello Friends. I have come to you for information.
I may have asked this before and forgot (oh the irony), what do meds for ADHD do? I mean, what is the purpose? What do they do for you? Do you have side effects? Does it help? How does it help? Is it the old 'zombie' reactions I've always heard of? How does it help in adulting?
Please give info if you take meds for this. I need legit info, not read it from a medical professional info.
My birthday was Monday. For this birthday I took a whole week off of work paid. This may be the best gift I've given myself.

So is it ADHD to need music to focus? In HS (a million years ago), it use to drive my mother crazy that I would have music and like another task going while studying. She never believed me when she said it helped me focus.
I learn more and more being on this board.

I mean, if you love it and it has meaning to you. Keep it. Not all people sporting Bible verses are Christian or even believe in God. Just saying. They just like the verse/the meaning to them/etc.
It took more into my adult years and then I got my first tattoo. It's a semi-colon with butterfly wings. The semi-colon meaning that it's a pause not the end for suicide awareness.
WARNING: I never believed people that said once you get one you get hooked.... I now have two. The other is an monogram of every letter of the alphabet so that I have every word ever created and every book ever written.
Edit: MONOGRAM -- apparently I just don't know words. It's a symbol thing.

I am not handling it (as in I'm not really involved in it), however it is a good place to post and it's not strange. This is VERY anxiety causing and 2020 can be done now.
Five year plan? Psh. I need a five minute plan.
Although, every time I've been asked in interviews I've said no. It's something along this line:
"I don't really have a five year plan. The reason is that I'm interviewing here without a certainty of answers. That means that I'm still open to changes that could alter a plan that I make. I feel that I would be more confident in giving you a plan once I know how this decision is going to play out." Yadda yadda...
@Auspice -- I normally call the company directly (not fill their form) and say I have questions, etc. I don't give them my number.
So my slight peeve --

So.... yeah.
These last few weeks have been TRYING. I ended up in the ER for something that challenged my mobility. This was right about when I was planning to move out and get my feet back under me (hahaha pun). So I took a few days to feel sorry for myself.
Then I bought an adapter for my car to allow me to use hand controls instead of feet controls. This is odd, but hey, I'm back to driving. Today, I just moved the rest of my stuff in and my dog. So, after getting out of a rough situation, living with family for a few I am... back.. on.. my own..
All the praise hands and things. I just am beyond happy that I have this place and that we live in a world that things can adapt as one needs it.
