Just to put this out there for everyone following this thread, our main goal on the game will be RP. You'll have the option to have combat (what game doesn't, especially with this setting?) but with the code we're initial working with, the main points will be Roleplay and Storytelling. Does that still get people going? Asking well in advance during the creation process so we know which way to go for folks. Thanks!

Fallout: Montreal
COMING SOON!
(And by that I mean as quickly as possible once all the lil things are shuffled away and set up correctly. No more jumping the gun this time, regardless of excitement >.<)
All information regarding this game will be posted here once it's completed and can be made public.

RE: Fallout MU*
This might be too old to matter, but just tossing it up for anyone still following.
My fellow Staffers and I are currently working on getting ideas down on paper. Soon (hopefully) we'll be opening a new Fallout game.

RE: What Is Missing For You?
@carex I agree with this lots. It's also very hard for people to play IN an era because of their present views on subject matters. The 60s, for example. It's a rough time, especially if you're of a different race, creed, and dealing with the war is another kettle of fish. GREAT era to use, but people just...forget or don't play against it. And that's disappointing.
That being said, in our prior game, we had our policies talk about these types of things. And the good ol' This is an Adult game, be an Adult to play it. Adult. So yeah, we don't shrink away from that stuff. Nor should it EVER be shrunk away from in WoD. Hello, World of DARKNESS. It's not a happy place.

@misadventure We'll keep that in mind!

RE: Interest Poke - Fallout Canada
@misadventure We'll be looking into that during our research prior to setting up anything. Given the 'lock' of culture/flare in the game series.

RE: Interest Poke - Fallout Canada
Location: In a way, you'll get Toronto. At least the guts of it. We chose our location because of its sandwich of other larger cities just down the river from it. That's why I said that we'd have one setting, but have a grid that allows exploration/visitation or other locations within a reasonable distance. Regardless of its cultural diversity or not present day, that doesn't mean someone can't be whatever nationality they so choose in our setting. It's the future, a fictitious future, so people can be as froggy as they'd like to be. (That being said, I'll pass along the idea of Toronto to the boys, see what they think. Brain bashing still in the process, so actual locations MAY change.)
Timeline: We're thinking about 150-200 years after the first blasts. So, kinda in line with Fallout, Fallout 2 and New Vegas (though, y'know, less deserty.)
Factions: We're working on those! Granted that we just started officially brain storming yesterday, we already have a few factions in mind. We're also doing research before anything is concrete. We'll be staying true to Fallout Lore as MUCH as possible, but given the lack there of for Canada during the series, we have some ample leg room to be original and make some awesome stuff up. All I can promise you about that is we won't go off the wall crazy!
Vault: We just might have one.

RE: Interest Poke - Fallout Canada
@insomnia Oh no, I totally get that! At first, we didn't want to give away the location just yet until we hammered out more ideas. Cat's outta the bag now, though! ^_^
