I don't recall what exactly went awry, but I tried the steps in the github link I posted earlier this thread and couldn't get it working.
But the one person who has ever gotten it to work (by my knowledge) said it crashes frequently. I think having Potato back would be undercut sorely by dealing with it crashing often.
I did a bit of testing and the only way I found to get Potato working on Sierra (10.12.6), is to install Mac Ports and XQuartz, and invoke Potato with the version of wish that comes with the ports screenshot e.g. /opt/local/bin/wish ~/potato.vfs/main.tcl. This works fine but incurs some additional overhead by needing to run under XQuartz.

Atlantis is awesome sauce but Potato runs just fine on MacOS, if you prefer it.
Didn't I just read in some other thread about someone offering up a DB core with a fully coded Fate system? Seems like this could still be a thing, if someone wanted to run with it.
I've been a fan of Trek for more years than I care to remember, but the previews of the new series have left me utterly disinterested. I think I'm just tired of them constantly reinventing stuff. It took me years to finally accept Enterprise and then they went and cancelled it just as soon as it was starting to get good. Don't think I'm going to give this one a chance, especially since I have to pay to view it.
Besides, The Orville is closer to being what old school Trek was about, than actual Trek is now.
I had a good start on an Evennia-based Expanse game, but then I lost interest in the setting and shoved the project onto the back burner, where it's sat for a good 2 months or more now.
I've been thinking about maybe starting work on it again, only this time it would be set in the Belt years before the books so that there would be no FCs, no Protomolecule metaplot and no gates system. Either that or I take the elements from the Expanse that I like and roll them into an 'original' setting. I haven't decided yet.
You can find used bikes at thrift shops, pawn shops, Habitat for Humanity, etc but in my experience, they cost about the same (~ $90) as what you would pay for a brand new (albeit cheap) bike from WalMart.
I'd suggest that you log on to MUS*H and talk to Mike. He's the guy that wrote it and he's usually happy to support it. He's in the UK so might on at weird times.
You might want to check into RhostMUSH. It's very compatible with both TinyMUSH and MUX, and offers a lot of modern features that neither of those servers has.
I made it about halfway through the first episode of The Orville before my attention started to wander. I never finished it. There was nothing about it that made me want to watch it. The characters weren't interesting, the acting wasn't that great, and the dialog was 'meh'. It is indeed nothing more than Star Trek with potty humor.
Edit: I finally got around to watching Discovery and realized that The Orville is the better of the two shows. I'll have to give it another chance.
I'm sure chicken and waffles are perfectly fine, but if you're going for a good southern breakfast, nothing beats properly made biscuits and gravy.

I have never eaten a waffle in my life. I do, however, love fried chicken, and find the idea of desecrating perfectly good chicken by serving it with a glorified pancake and maple syrup a little disturbing.
