@Macha She herself posted on her Twitter that her GRS was botched and she was dealing with incredible pain daily. It's part of what I was referring to with Badawi. Definitely worth reading up on, the situation was an absolute horror show for her in Renegades.

@Rinel There's no proof it was intentional. There's no proof it wasn't. She "passed away peacefully in her sleep" - which can mean a lot of things. But she was deeply depressed, and things had recently taken a very hard turn for her. If nothing else, the mental health conversation is so important to have with the 41% attempted suicide rate. If she wasn't depressed from the horrific things she suffered - if her GRS hadn't been botched - she likely wouldn't have been on the same medications, and even an accidental death would be far less likely.

Yeah, I feel horrible for her. She was easily a rising star, and I can see a world where if people had been supportive instead of terrorizing her, she could have gone so far. I'll miss her weebtastic streams.

@Groth Lucas had Samuel L. Jackson, Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson and Natalie Portman all near the pinnacle of their careers, and even from those insanely good actors, we got wooden dialogue and awkward emoting.

It's absolutely unbelievable to me.

surprise meeting at 9:30 this morning, we are given 20 minutes to prepare.

We're missing our goals for end of year. Mandatory 30 minute meetings every morning/evening now to track progress. Keep it simple, keep it focused, I'm assigned to track notes and what everyone is doing.

God of War (PS4) is on Playstation Now and I still love this series a little too much.

Even moreso now that Kratos - and the dev team - have grown the fuck up.

On a side note, does anyone else's body temperature rise when playing really action intense games? I'm talking full on adrenaline flush and sweating. I've only noticed it with this game lately, but it's a strange (and gross) feeling.

This week has been so rough for me so far. I didn't watch my diet or my liquid intake and it shattered my focus. Suddenly I couldn't bring myself to do anything - and started feeling sick, because I literally did not realize how hungry and dehydrated I was.

It's now 3:41 in the morning, and after chugging water, stuffing my face, taking a long nap last night and forcing myself into a bath, I'm able to face the work - but the anxiety over unread emails is not helping. Oh well. Time to get this done.

Oddly enough, the best commentary that I've found on all of this - especially as it regards to things like what happened with the NBA this week and the Hearthstone gamer - watch last week's Southpark episode.

Their animated statement on the entire thing is pretty spot on and subsequently why Southpark has been entirely scrubbed from China.

Matt Stone and Trey Parker certainly have loads of Tegridy. Their response to the situation on Twitter was also perfect. There's a reason this is the only show that's been going on this long that I still watch.
