People having babies who shouldn't have babies (Drug use, other children already removed from custody, abusers...) popping out babies repeatedly and people like me who want to have a biological child can't.

I mean - I don't feel exploited? I feel like there is just no win. We're a public service sector (a PreK-8 public school to be precise). We're dealing with children. We can't just... not do stuff.

So if we don't have the people then we just HAVE to make do with who we have without endangering out students?

I need my husband to go back into work in person. He is going stir crazy and I'm finding that more and more often I have to fact check and push back on things he says because being alone has put him into an echo chamber.

I'm trying to teach from Zoom. I finally just had to put my head down and laugh as the first ten minutes were "CAN YOU HEAR ME?!" <mouth moves with no sound> "TRY TO PICK UP YOUR MIC/TAKE OFF YOUR HEADPHONES!" <silent yelling for parent> "LOOK AT MY POOP!" (thankfully, the last was a stuffed poop emoji. I still almost died.)

There was also the one with the little brother who was totally naked who just sat in the background.

Man, I'm ON my meds and today has been one long fight with the knot in my chest where I just start sobbing at the drop of a hat because of anxiety.

I don't know why I always do this. Hubs aunt works as an editor for Penguin Random House and sends me books. I've liked every single one of them, but for some reason I still let them sit on the shelf for 9+ months before I read them.

I am reading the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions for the townhouse we're in the process of buying and damn. I can read the word. I know individually what each of the words means. I'm not always totally sure what they all mean TOGETHER.
