When you're supposed to be home and on bed rest and basically a human slug and not moving, but you have to spend 2.5 hours at the pharmacy to get one half of your prescriptions, of which the most important parts are missing (glucose test strips) and the metformin. Call the hospital, get it sorted. Go to dose at dinner after making the SO run down to town again (30 minutes+wait+30minutes back) and find out they done fucked that up, too!

Happy release day after 32 days of captivity, but fuck you for wanting your meds and shit to actually be in order. I expect a pharmacy to fuck up like this, but not the goddamned hospital.

'Mundane'

Get back to chugging along on TDM after the holidays. I was eaten by babysitting (not doing that anymore - lil brats wouldn't stop biting my kid >.<), getting sick, vending and the like. Post-holidays my schedule is considerably freed up to get back to world building :3

I'd like to learn more MUX code, but I'm afraid wiki is beyond me.

Alrighty. Proof of progress!

Got a couple of rooms desc'd up. Added a waste water plant, a power plant, have a library, science center, and a couple of other places of interest. Running out of ideas for neat things to toss on the grid as I'm digging and brainstorming. Suggestions would be welcome!

Started adding the grid spaces to the wiki, with an overview desc and a list of the places of interest within. It ain't pretty, but it's there!

@Ganymede >.> That'd be epic <.< Doing a clean up/re-work to pull the post-apoc references is on the to-do list, I just won't really have time to do it until after school starts and it's kind of low on the list compared to some other things (looking at you, crafting system.)

Big white board with dry erase markers. If you want to get fancy, you can spend some time and use a permanent marker to put up a square or hex grid.

TDM has plans on adding 2.0wolf once we get the territory system hammered out. It'll be m/m+/vamp/wolf when she's all finished. Grid's mostly done, we've been working on theme brainstorming.

@Thenomain - What I want looks like the $400 range. I want a drawing tablet that is touch sensitive and has a screen on if, since we don't have a desktop or windows/apple laptop. I have a pretty good idea from what was suggested here - just gotta save up and see if I can't swing it for her birthday.

I'm aiming for something that, once code is built, can be mostly hands-off for staff and played like a mini-game akin to Settlers of Catan.

So, I guess Etsy did a dumb a couple weeks ago.

I know there's a handful of people here that sell or craft show and the like. What's the next best place to be for selling online? I have done Shopify, but it's a much harder 'self-push' forum than Etsy was. I know Square has a similar set up to Etsy, but after Etsy did the dumb, I'm leery of just jumping onto any old bandwagon and hoping they don't do something similar

Anyone have any info about these things or recommendations?

Still a bit more gridwork to do (I'm a dirty slacker), and map layers to build. However, I picked up a few more hands to help with some balancing of the Territory system, the wiki is fleshing up with a couple of hands working on it (some theme files are already up). A coder is helping me learn/build the code structure for the Territory system that'll come in eventually (which is nice, cause then I can do maintenance or alter it as needed if the balance is wonky).

We're not too far from a 'please don't hurt me' super soft open, using jobs and spreadsheets to track the earliest play tests of the territory system :3 No dates, yet, but soon!

The last big bits is combing through Hurt Locker, adding stuff from it, possibly updating the cgen/sheet code to the latest version, making sure temprooms and equipment work and updating equipment. Adding in Bloodlines (though, I'm not sure that's much of a code thing, other than editing a list, maybe) and in-game files for them, as well as wiki files.

@Raemira I was looking at that! It might be the way I go. They have a whopping 145 handmade chain bracelet listings and I have about 120 finished bracelets. Only about 20 of the postings were chainmaille, so I'd almost double their overall postings and be way ahead on the chainmaille crowd.

When I had Shopify, I was paying $30/month, so $40/month for a lot more visibility and 'brand trust' built into Amazon is definitely worth another ten bucks, in my mind.
