And there never really was.

There were games where one could have fun, but that's not the same thing.

For instance, a friend of mine and I were once asked to join the mage sphere on a game where, for whatever reason, the sphere had been nearly wiped clean. We were offered anything we wanted, which meant Master mages, to get in there, get active and, per the god 'help clean up some loose threads'. So of course we decided to go in there with a light touch, be respectful, get to know the place and figure out ho- haha, no, we made two mages with Twin Souls, him specializing in Corr/Time/Mind/Spirit and me specializing in Forces/Matter/Life/Prime, and we just went in there and did whatever wanted. Our characters had long, detailed backgrounds, but Jesus, who cares? We were asked to trim up some loose ends, so we trimmed like crazy. Bad Black Spiral Dancer? Telenuked. Inactive Prince? Inactive pile of ash. Oh, and when the article about turning vampires to lawnchairs came out, did we take that as a warning? No. We took that as a challenge. Suddenly everyone became a potential addition to our dining room. And as Kant once said, one loses the capacity for good moral reasoning when rather than seeing other people as an end, one sees them as an end table.

Anyway, the place died because I guess players started to feel like things were unstable and they never knew if they or their friends might die at any moment? I donno. Seems like a bunch of whining to me.

So that was a FUN MU, but it probably wasn't a very good one.

Minor update.

I'm writing all of these down.

I was really hoping this thread would be about more words for weiners, because I'm honestly stumped.

I know that was the problem with DM, but I was under the impression that either they were more involved in The Expanse or else their deal was better.

Oh well. I guess that just means I should read the books now.

This is the point in the SyFy cycle where they forget the name of the network and start bringing in reality shows and pro-wrestling again.

I was surprised that The Mick got a second season, really.

That wouldn't be great. First of all, there's no reason why they can't find another young black actress out there rather than lumping multiple characters into one. But Riri's story of her family being killed by gun violence is uniquely American and it's important to her character.

I also really reject the idea that the movie would have been better by including this goddam thing.

It may not follow real world logic, but Thanos has already seen results that back up his logic.

He doesn't reduce Titan by half. It's a wasteland.

Ebony Maw was the only one with any real personality (but he oozed personality) so I was surprised at his out of the box death. The others I didn't much care about, though unlike Corvus Glaive and Cull Obsidian at least Proxima Midnight had a good line.

If anything I was annoyed that twice in the movie Proxima Midnight was sectioned off for a chick fight. Guys, it's okay for the girls and guys to fight. No one's going to get upset.

Also, look up James Gunn's recent tweet on what Groot's last words were. Certainly changed my most affecting death from Spidey to Groot.
