RE: Calaveras MUSH
Just to toe-kick this thread a little, I had a tremendous amount of fun running a pretty chaotic scene tonight for a bunch of people. I feel like this is important to highlight because so often anything with more than a couple of people turns into hell on wheels as folks scatter or someone gets grouchy and needs to make their grouch A Thing right then and there.
Didn't happen tonight, just was a real pleasure to ST for some super nice players. Good crew on this game.

RE: MU Things I Love
Playing with some folks that you haven't maybe played with before and it turns out really nice.

RE: MU Things I Love
A hilarious resolution to a really hilarious plotline. @krmbm @bear_necessities

RE: [NSFW] Erotic RP Concepts
I'm not falling for this. This is going to be another thread where @reversed almost convinces me they don't know what TS is.

RE: MU Things I Love
when you slowly play out a scene over the course of the week and it turns out to be a fun high point and then you're laughing at 6am when you catch up on the poses that happened while you were zzzz

RE: Breaking the Silence: Issac/Thrace
@abyss-walker Evidence that you stalk people? Okay, I have some. You just crazy posted someone's RL info, exposing them to all sorts of weird shit because of game drama on a fucking MUSH. But by all means go on about how you're a victim.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
We bought an older house and I basically feel like I'm living in that movie The Money Pit. It's only been like two weeks.

RE: MU Things I Love
When I was driving home today, I remembered this plot arc that I ran on Harper's Tale a few years ago. There were a few things I enjoyed:
-
It was a murder mystery and I played the guy who got killed, I played him regularly for like three months.
-
I encouraged the PC of @silverfox to open a door in the middle of a crowded party so that the body could fall out.
-
I dumped a bunch of clues and made A sECrET TuNneL
-
I had a nice solid chase scene through a warehouse with @krmbm and then we killed our characters off in a fiery blaze.
-
I got to burn stuff down.
Anyway, it was fun.

RE: Why are there so many MUs set in Maine?
where my Long Island games at, where I can RP holding the door open for people at 7-11 and wondering when road construction is ever going to end on my commute to work

RE: MU Things I Love
To keep the good feelings going
I've had some RP the last weekish between a pair of players that that's been really fun. Emotionally tricky for the PCs involved, but not overwrought or stressful OOC. A+

RE: How are you coping with COVID (and other 2020 fun)?
My greatest relief of the week is that my washer isn't broken thank christ

RE: What Is Missing For You?
A supernatural/horror game that isn't focused on teenagers/early college students. I totally get the appeal of that genre, but it just isn't for me.

RE: farfalla banned
So for the record, baiting and engaging in conversations with a poster over controversial issues while they're upset and you're an admin? A-okay here.
Getting into one brief scuffle with another person one time and then both people going to their corners? Nuke an otherwise peaceful poster from orbit.
Got it.

RE: Arx: @clues
I don't know that I think "hording" and not sharing clues is really an issue on Arx. If anything (and I'm totally guilty of this) it's more: "oh you're looking for information on x-subject? Lemme see what I have" and digging up all the things. I try to give context and not just make it an info drop, but it happens. >.>

RE: How do you like things GMed?
I have a broad plan for most things. But sometimes I'll get a group that's bound and determined to make something A Thing that's not A Thing then I have to nudge them along to True Thing.
