@GreenFlashlight That's... creepy as fuck. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with people? Don't approach a guest, tell them what to app unless they bloody well ask for an IC in to your own char or something.
I think the logic goes something like, "I'm horny; I can't understand other people except as they can fulfill my desires; therefore let me tell you my genuinely disturbing and sometimes criminal fantasies."
Isn't that what Shangrila is for, though? Why does it need to escape that particular quarantine zone?
People actually get banned from Shangrila for consent issues.

You only need to go to the Hog Pit to see Arx is the only real representative of the hobby, at least for now
Only if you equate "what we're talking about" and "what exists."

RE: Is this hobby on it's last legs?
@SixRegrets No game is drama free, least of all if it's talked about here.

RE: Is this hobby on it's last legs?
There is plenty of talk about Arx, all of the time no matter which part of the forum you're in. So I presume that's still active, either that or all Arx players are sharing in some kind of Multi User Shared Hallucination...

@Sunny 7.25 an hour and I will hang around in any group discussion and giggle at your witticisms.

I'm not sure what the special sauce is to get people to generate their own RP vs only engaging when there's staff-run plots happening. It works on some games and not others.
Often, and this isn't necessarily relevant for Euphoria, it's because staff-run plots 'count' whereas other RP doesn't. Anything that isn't run by staff is social RP, and that doesn't count towards... whatever it is people keep score of.

I'm fairly certain we have a politics section for a reason.

@Arkandel If the United States were a democracy, I'd agree with you.

I'll go out on a limb and say that... at least 70% of people don't know where it comes from.
Although if we ask ourselves "this thing is popular with The Youngs of America, where did it come from?" at any point in the last century or so, lacking evidence to the contrary, we're usually safe to assume the answer is "black people."
True enough. Though I am loathe to adopt such an Amero-centric world view.

This comment really seems to communicate the idea that you seem not actually very aware of what it is or where it comes from.
I'll go out on a limb and say that... at least 70% of people don't know where it comes from.
And what it is right now is a broad phrase that applies to almost any situation where there is the appearance of widespread ostracism or hate.

'Cancel culture' is nothing more than the right's latest replacement for 'political correctness'.
It honestly isn't just that.
There absolutely is a history of internet overreaction to a misunderstanding that results in suffering for innocent people.

Sadly, yes -- so I probably won't learn my lesson.
Of course, for the sake of science, you have to repeat the experiment. Several more times.
