I tweeted about your stream.

RE: The 100: The Mush
Thought so. Think that's why I decided not to try the game, among several other factors like having watched a few episodes of the show and it not being for me.

RE: World of Darkness -- Alternative Settings
I promise that this is not a troll answer when I say this:
I would love to see a WoD game set on a space station or colonized planet. Something that'd make having supernaturals scary because there would probably not be hundreds of thousands of mortals around to sustain them and would make any conflict difficult to stay out of.

RE: Jim Nanban's Playlist
It was Serenity Mush and Battlestar... oh heck! The one that eventually became Kharon, I think? Been so long since we were on that game I forget.

RE: Any Streamers Out There?
So a lot has happened since I made this thread. As of September 28th of this year I made Twitch affiliate and am on something of a schedule, assuming RL and all that allows me to be able to dedicate at least a few hours at a time. This is my schedule, subject to change (times US CST):
Mon-Wed, Fri: 3pm-8pm
Saturday: Noon-6pm
Sunday: Noon-8pm
Thurs: Offhttps://www.twitch.tv/tiredewok
I mainly play Overwatch but often play other games that are somewhat obscure (Finished Fran Bow on stream a couple weeks ago, great game!). I hope to be able to get a Switch and a capture card so I can stream games like the new Pokemon game, etc, as well.
For those who posted their Twitch link, I'll follow y'all and try to pop in.

RE: Star Wars: Insurgency
I don't have issue with you voicing your opinion. What I take issue with is the fact that you're so willing to write the game off as a failure before it has even had a chance to really get off of the ground. Such levels of cynicism makes me sad and for many reasons, especially considering you're not even willing to give the game a try.
And is it just me or does anyone else want to tag on #AltFacts onto the end of the '72 games have tried and failed' line of logic?

RE: Internet Attacks? Why?
I think this happens more with gamers than it does with mu*ers because of, put simply, jealousy. Many gamers who get swatted or doxxed are very successful at what they do and their success is very visible. You can go onto Twitch or YouTube and see how well someone is doing simply based on numbers - viewers, subscribers, followers, etc. While most people can be happy for them, or maybe indifferent, even, there are some who are driven to irrationality. These are the people who swat. These are people who DDOS and doxx amd whatever else they can think of to cause harm. I will say that I do think the swatters don't (usually?) mean for anyone to be hurt or killed, but they do want them to be ruined in other ways, mainly their reputation.

RE: Cupcake's Playlist
@Tinuviel said in Cupcake's Playlist:
My name's Tin Uviel, I used to be a spy; until...
...you took an adventurer to the knee?

RE: Bloopers
I remember the first time I ever 'bloopered'. Was not long after I started mushing and was hanging out on a mu*'s PG area (was a game that allowed minors since it was mostly a social mu*). I was having some... fun with someone in pages while chatting with people in the PG room and... uhm, accidentally fat fingered the page command. So instead of 'p' I typed 'po' by mistake. Dropped a rather raunchy pose in the room, while a minor and the head wiz was there. Thankfully the aforementioned head wiz was cool, and it was passed off as the accident it was, but holy shit was I mortified!

RE: Apu's Playlist
Yet another long overdue update. Yes, another. Deal with it.

RE: When To Stop Listening To Those Voices
This can be hard. I've had those same voices in my head tell me that my friends on Twitch actually hate me and all that, even though I know logically that is not true. The important thing to do, or at least what works for me, is to just reaffirm the fact that you are liked/loved/etc. It can be hard to shut the voice up, but with time you can succeed.

RE: Kell's Playlist
Haha. Yeah. With all the BSG games I have RPed on, I've forgotten more characters' names than I remember. Easier to point them out on a case by case basis, like now.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
This really falls under the category of 'first world problem', as much as I hate to use that phrase, but I need to vent, so here it is.
I really hate being on a tight budget. It really wouldn't be a bad thing, many people are on tight budgets and do just fine, but it seems like when we really have to tighten the purse strings is when everything just fucking starts breaking. Right now it's my computer which is making doing all but the simplest of things impossible. It wouldn't be an issue, nothing more than something of a minor inconvenience, but considering 99% of what I do is computer-reliant and need a reliable CPU, and I'm still trying to get my streaming off the ground... yeah, this couldn't happen at a worst time.

RE: Apu's Playlist
Yet another edit to reflect letting go of some alts on FC and a couple other games I am in the process of joining.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
I am glad we didn't ever use the snooze button. When the alarm went off we were pretty much 100% go as the hubby had to be at work by 7 and the kids had to be ready for the bus. Then alarms stopped being a part of my life entirely when the youngest was in his senior year. I told him 'look, I love you a lot, but I am done with this morning bs, you're old enough to know what to do to get ready and when you need to be out the door, you can do it on your own'. I wasn't winning any mother of the year awards for that, but I didn't care.
