Lonesome Road isn't as good as Old World Blues.
Also I am on my second play through and am already seeing so many things I missed in my first 72 hour "speed run".
(72 hours of gameplay not over 3 days).

The only change there is Paradox is signing off on them rather than CCP.
From yesterday's update:
NWoD 2 – At Paradox for approval.

So I thiught, "Oh, I'll just turn on Jessica Jones while getting some work done."
Two episodes in, I gave up and binge watched the rest on the couch while cuddling with the dog until 4am.
Damnit Netflix.
Purple Man made you do it.
@Arkandel I like that people don't have to / aren't encouraged to twink their cg build.
2nd Edition also makes min-maxing at character creation nearly impossible.
In 1st edition, you were far better off starting with key traits high and filling in others with xp, in 2nd edition those costs remain consistent.
The only way I know offhand to save an XP in 2nd edition is to take an out of clan discipline for your first dot for a vampire, which saves you an xp.
The only time I have had any sort of xp spending rules imposed in tabletops are when the game itself has it built in, usually for training times.
I have managed to avoid pretty much any plot spoilers and even game play spoilers. I may livestream some game play though.
Not wanting to be the reach is a legitimate goal. When it paralyzes you with fear or obsession like it did me in 2012, it is a problem.
So. Fallout 4 releases in under 24 hours. By tomorrow evening I will have my Pip-Boy edition in hand (and on wrist).
See ya in 2016, muing.
Game designers should do what they fucking want to, yeah. They are beholden to their own truth. Fuck the haters.
Back to the topic of xp spends I wonder if @Sunny is making the same mistake I did with CoFaB. Namely, being so against the xp bloat and dinosaurs of TR that you overcorrect.
@Cobaltasa did you include your initial xp as auto gain?
@Thenomain Maybe I could enjoy it if my office didn't have the heat on by time of year.
It should not be pushing 80 degrees in November in the mid Atlantic.
Ok, so I decided to take a look at my personal experience (ha) as a strictly player on a nWoD Game. On Eldritch, I have had an approved vampire PC since August 11. At this moment he has 42 XP, or 210 beats.
10 xp (50 beats) came at character creation. Since then, here is the breakdown of his gains:
So from this you can see that, for me at least, who has run I believe 7 scenes and played in 2, I have made the vast majority of my XP from simple time. Yes I realize my Conditon XP is low, and I do have 5 unresolved conditons at present, but even then that is just another 1 XP.
Now, what the fuck can we learn from this?
