    • RE: Fuck WoD - Trinity Continuum is real

I am very interested in seeing how the various tiers work out. And I wonder if the tiers themselves will be more.balanced than Aberrant and Scion were (see: Mega-Strength, Epic Dexterity)

I love me my Xbox one as both a game console and an entertainment system. Also if it helps they have just announced that they will be adding backwards compatibility to the XB1 greatly increasing the library.

I too enjoyed Aberrant and Aeon both. I didn't really get into Adventure, but it fizzling like it did also stole our interest in trying to do more with it.

I like flashy powers, what can I say?

Since I know you are a crunchy system guy, have you read the two previews for the new System they are building? Design name is Sardonyx, it is a "setting agnostic" system designed to handle scaling power levels. It will be used in both Trinity Continuum and Scion.

    • E3 2015

So Bethesda is doing their stream here: https://www.youtube.com/e3?feature=int-yo-e3

They just finished showing a significant amount of Doom gameplay, and while I missed much of it, it looks fucking gorgeous in action. And is still calls a weapon "Super Shotgun"

TIL that it's after 2050. What rock have I been hiding under?

Hey, I can either say "the aughts" or I can say something much MUCH cooler and not innacurate.

I played so, so much Aberrant in the early 21st century. And now it is coming. Back.

@Rook - Not yet. There will be a 2.0 core book. However all of the gameline cores have enough rules to play as is.

@tragedyjones Is The 100 any good?

YES. It is fairly philosophical post-Apocalyptic Sci-Fi with a lot of bleakness and a lot of guts, especially for a CW show. It does not shy away from hard character choices, and it also has an amazingly diverse cast, gender wise, with a super kickass lead and also it makes me think of Fallout.

Dorian Gray is the most accurate representation of a TS alt I have ever seen.

@coin Yes that was... a thing that I watched on premium teevee.

This is the sort of plot that would probably be shot down by staff on most MUs.

Oh and the other best show ever: The 100 (shut up)

I am a massive mark for Agents of SHIELD. Yes, the first 2/3 of S1 dragged and were a bit dull and inconsistent. But it is legit awesome now, and the finale was almost as satisfying as Age of Ultron.

However, a show I simply cannot recommend enough is Penny Dreadful

I would agree with Raptor if I ran an NWoD 2.0 tabletop I would scrap the whole god machine concept completely. Just not my cup of tea. Much like when I ran NWoD Mage table top I excised any mention of Atlantis.
Honestly I think the basic God Machine as driving plot force is why I am so meh about the second round of NWoD.
I don't think ist is a bad idea just one I find to be almost the platonic ideal of uninteresting.

It is only the driving force behind Demon, really. And to clarify, @HelloRaptor I only downvoted your for the Promethean hate. Hater.

    • What is your God-Machine

If you were to ST a game/launch a MU, what would the role of the God-Machine be in your world?

Is it a Creator, having made the universe? An invading force, some vague leftover of another time or place? Perhaps it is simply the Operating System of reality? Or a machine crafted by Ancient Atlanteans to maintain the function of the world?

Does the God-Machine cull overpopulated Kindred by repurposing them and creating VII? Did a rogue Occult Matrix on the Moon birth the Idigam? Do the various occult matrices exist to generate enough Mana to maintain a a forced link to the Supernal?

I recently tried to make a character here. First, upon logging in, I didn't get so much as a hello from anybody. I figured ok, people are busy and don't have time to greet new people, and went into CG. I finished CG and the +job has sat completely untouched for 5 days (and counting). Not a 'we're working on this' or anything.

So... looks like I will not be playing here.

I am highly sorry that this occurred, and I will look into what made this happen. I understand I cannot undo what occurred but I can attempt to not make it happen again.

Not like the idea of a frequently shifting roster wasn't always an Avengers thing anyway. Though I am disappoint we won't get Cap's Kooky Quartet.
