@Kanye-Qwest So I grew up THINKING i was roughly 1/4 - 1/2 Italian, my last name is even Italian... Well 23 and Me say otherwise. I am about 40% Bavarian (which is spot on with my grandmothers side, but if it was only her, it should be lower than that. And Another 40 % is English, Specifically London area. I am like 1.2 % Italianish. But my 'alleged' maternal bio-grandfather is Italian like Father from Italy. There are large differences in appearance between my mom and brother, like 1.5 feet and haircolor.... and i /really/ want to talk to my Oma about it, but she is turning 90 soon and I dont even know if I want to ask such a personal questions, but it also might be my only chance and does it matter that much i mean i dont know shit about my Fathers side really...

Last night I found out an old friend died. I havent spoken to or even seen him in ~15 years. We weren't even that close. Except for the fact that in the early months of the year 2000's, when I was near homeless, and he was just a stranger from a LARP group, he took me into his household with his Wife, and Child, and other friends. Through that I met a man who was one of the very few I invited to my wedding.

R.I.P. Vernon you glorious man, incredible DM and steampunk renfaire weirdo. There was much about you I aspire to be.

This thread is a direct example of all these exact feelings. All the shit (okay most) that I was constantly hounded about growing up wasn't just something I could solve with liberal application of this mysterious intangible called 'willpower' and 'discipline' no matter how many of the people in my life 'didn't believe in ADHD' Basically I am posting because I cant give more +1's and I like commiserating about our super mutant brains.

Yeah, pretty normal for me. I have people I can not talk to for years and then just start talking to them again like we had just spoken the day before. Not everyone responds well.

@Sunny She so is! Her videos are some of my favorites. Watching that one was just a flashback of a lot of 'panic attack/boredom breakups' and the cheating that didn't 'FEEEL' like cheating because it happened in the moment and it was at a party and i was drunk and whatever oops. Because the need for DOPAMINE NOW vs neurotypical whatever. Which isnt an absolvement of the shit i did when i was young, but learning new pieces of the puzzle is... enlightening.
