@egg Perception is important - just because you think everyone else is having a blast while you sit in a room that doesn't make it so.
As for RP isn't a reward given to those who deserve it. Sometimes it's simply a matter of having OOC connections.

What astounds me is the widespread idea online that just because this season was disappointing to 'many fans' it will somehow harm the producers' career.
For starters the viewership was extremely high. You don't lose your job, or a potential job, because of criticism; you lose them because you didn't make money. Downvotes are unimportant compared to dollars as a metric.
For another everyone whines online. It's non-stop, no matter what's put out there someone will complain, demolish and hate it. It's basically required for all of those people to either not be on social media or to ignore it else they will go crazy. And if people will complain no matter what it's impossible to tell if they are right or wrong.

@Auspice The thing is though there are legitimate fantasy tropes based on disabilities that are overcome. The blind archer, old and frail martial artist, slow-witted but massive warrior are pretty standard ideas.

@Warma-Sheen Bucks. I trust Steph+Klay to deliver on that stage more than guys like Lopez and Ilyasova to step up.
One thing I definitely do is transfer builds once I've done my 'research' on mechanics for a certain type of character.
So for example I have a combaty GMC Werewolf file somewhere with useful merits, Facets, etc to purchase... which won't lead even to identical +sheets (since that leaves a lot of wiggle room for extras) but makes sure I don't miss anything major out as I make a new character good at punching people.
