@Cobaltasaurus , @skew, et al.
And that's fine. Bells and whistles are cool. Hell, I'm the guy building an in-depth combat system for a game so that I don't have to have people screaming about dice, and you don't get more fiddly than that. I just wanted to make sure that @Cobaltasaurus was considering how much people would use it, etc. or what other things it would tie into.

RE: Vampire 5E Playtest
@Arkandel
We don't know. The playtest is literally 'here's all the Hunger mechanics, here is te combat rules, here's some Disciplines up to 3, go to town'. Generation is in there but as a tacked on 'this will probably break shit' mechanic. APparently we'll have a much better and more thorough full Alpha, not pre-Alpha, release after Gencon. -
RE: nWoD2.0 Support Code?
@Cobaltasaurus
Can I ask a question? Unless you're going to like, allow phone hacking and such, what's the point of even making that code? How often does it get used? Is it worth the time? It's something to consider, I think. -
RE: nWoD2.0 Support Code?
@faraday
It can be done on Penn. Volund's code suite does it, assuming you can get past everything ELSE that it does. The big thing with it is that the wiki and the MUSH have to be on the same server. You could probably tear it apart. -

RE: Random links
@Auspice
Cool. I saw this come across one of my WoD Facebook groups. Airtime is always awesome. -

@Paris
What quantifies the dinosaur faction? Many of us here probably fit. -
RE: [Original Supernatural/Vampire MUSH] Houses of the Blood MUSH
My own thread necro.
I'm working on stuff still. Thanks to @SunnyJ and others who gave me some input. Things are going slow due to RL stuff picking up, but I'm still hammering away. Got the much longer than I thought 'origin of the vampire' done, got some stuff on Attributes and Skills in.
If anyone cares to look, its https://www.hotbmush.com, click news files on the left and go to town. Tear it apart. I want to hear your honest opinions!
ETA: If you see things referencing Masquerade, they're newsfiles written for the WoD game I was going to make that I'm repurposing. Nothing is finalized (and completely ignore that Blood file, it's being totally replaced).

Changeling the Lost is fun. Don't let it intimidate you. Just... let your inner fairy tale run wild. What are you building, if you don't mind me asking? -

RE: Rusalka's Bad Idea: Single(ish) Sphere oWoD
I wish you luck. Hasn't every one of the last three single-sphere WoD games failed due to not having ALL THE THINGS? What are you going to do that makes this worth people checking out? I am meaning this in the vein of 'is it going to be a single sphere sandbox' or 'is it going to be staff-run metaplot focused game' or what?

@Coin
Ooops. WHen you said 'the absolutely shit' I misread that as 'is absolutley shit'. My bad. So you were totally whelmed then. -
RE: Desc Me LA?
@Cobaltasaurus
I used wikitravel and airbnb to get some stuff as well; it was quite useful to get a more descriptive 'feel of the area' for NYC. -
RE: Good TV
@surreality
Yup. Season 2 is greenlit. So we'll see. It didn't take them long to get the 4 episodes done (like 8 months from announcement to done), so I have hope. -
RE: Good TV
@Arkandel
I would recommend Young Justice but I'm also apparently a horrible judge of shows (see @Coin , I love you too). It's different from what you'd expect out of a Teen Titans-esque concept. I enjoyed it for what it was -- a separate, new take on the teen sidekicks of superheroes. It establishes them as their own thing, a reason for the JL to not be involved heavily, and does change some source material -- but it's good. It's worth watching to see if it clicks for you.@Coin
I assume you weren't... whelmed... by Young Justice? flee!On Castlevania, I agree that it feels like a big prologue... which is kinda what it is. It's adapted the first like, quarter of the Castlevania 3 video game and embellished it a lot. It's not a finished product at all. It needs a full 13 to really flow, I think. It did a good introduction and setup (and it uses Symphony of the Night as the backstory for Dracula there, which I like). Still, it was pretty good, and a second cour is already greenlit.
@Thenomain
It got to the point pretty quickly. Humans piss of Dracula. Dracula wrecks their shit. Cue Belmont (now, once you get to Cue Belmont, things get slow...)
