I'd suggest Dragon Quest Builders 2, but only because I'm a giant nerd and enjoying that game far, far more than I have any other recent games.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is out. I have it on Switch. I'm having a grand old time on it.

There will be a PC version eventually. There is always a PC version eventually.

@Auspice Nobody's tried dragging me to Dragon's Lair yet. I've gone to Wonko's every once in a while, but that's board games, not D&D. My roommate wants to GM D&D though.

If you wanna do it without cheating, just start as Ethiopia, release Semien, and then conquer the holy land as an authentic Jewish state!

@Macha I'm sorry. Birthdays and Christmas are always the hardest times of the year when you're estranged from family; I speak from experience on that. Just take things one step at a time. Focus on the job when you are at work. Focus on the move when you are at home. It is good to compartmentalize and keep things separate. For sanity sake.

@Macha I've been there before and I sympathize. It gets easier with time and distance. If your family regularly makes you feel like an outsider you might want to consider a separation, even if it is limited.

@PuppyBreath I've got an open offer for a hot meal if you want to check out any of the local restaurants. Maybe @Auspice could come along as well. And anyone else in Austin. (Though the more people who go the cheaper the meal will have to be. :3)

I'm still working in the same field and basically the same job I never intended to stay with and can see no end in sight.

Also my body is falling apart. I think I'm going to just collapse in a bloody heap on the job someday and that will be the end of me. What a shitty way to go.

@Auspice I will say this for mumble rap. Despite my mega-loathing of it, I am glad to see that it has brought out a (very slightly) more LGBT-friendly side of the urban music community, especially with the guy from that (awful, just fucking -awful-) country rap song coming out as gay last month.
