I'll just leave this here:

Don't worry man if you get too stressed out by the peace we can always give you ad homonym attacks to help you feel like you're dealing with normal debates again.
@VulgarKitten
There was a scene I was in recently that was great with something like that.
My character was working on earning her way into a Triad group, while another group was trying to keep her out. She set up a meeting with one of the groups to try and start negotiations, which are of course tense and full of veiled threats and lies.
Another character was already in the Mafia... and made their way into the scene with a couple buddies.
What happens when a bunch of triad are dealing with someone they don't trust.. .and a Mafia Lt suddenly walks in?
Gun fight.
Nope. He's somewhere near a bandit camp northwest of a lake. I told him to wait... then forgot to go back and get him.
Somehow despite his abilities to understand people and his well honed sense of deductive reasoning this is beyond Nick to figure out.
You know one thing that used to happen in pretty much... EVERYFUCKING GAME EVER that had party members if they didn't see you for a period of time they'd go back to where you first found them.
@Derp
That was more a comment related to the page you linked sorry. They state she's a synth... but she wasn't one in my game.
Wonder if it's randomly generated to make for some ambiguity.
Stockton's daughter stepped on a mine on her way out in my game as well... didn't really see any synth parts on looting her corpse.
I am in a bind in this game now.
The only way I can get Covenant on my side at this point is killing everyone... but their engineer is adorable and I would rather not murder her by tossing an artillery beacon over the wall like some kind of monster...
But I would rather like to get a hold of that town.
Suggestions?
It was more of a joke, since there was the statement of only having one choice. My inner first world anarchist fights against that.

A common one you see is 'Bill walks up, then gasps and faints to the ground'. Unless you're playing an amoral savage, if Bill's a friend, your character MUST get up to respond to that entrance.
Or just play like me and go ahead and play an amoral character.
Yeah i get distracted and wander off for long stretches of time but still here. Seeing if I recognize anyone.
Realms of Despair Sahael (vampire, unrelated entirely to the later characters with this name.) Misa (Pixie Thief, National Minister of Intelligence), Warik (Human Fathomer), Dweezl the deadly gnome cleric, Rozencrants (human, deadly Fathomer), Ashandra (Druid Sea-Elf. Nations Leader.)
And yes Misa, Ashandra and Sahael were all members of one adventuring party. I thought it was fun to play as a group for people. Even if in the end Ash sacrificed Sahael to an elder god.
Shadowrun Denver Karl. Ork street sami... man this was like in 2004 I can't remember.
City of Hope (and other branches) Misa Wong/Misa Tsao/Meilin Wong/Connie Cheng (Lots of alternate identities never really got used) Sahael Al-Atrash, Christina Hynes/Anne Alexandrov.
Realm of DreamsAshandra (I'm lazy when it comes to names okay?) Titless Sidhe skating on the edge of undoing.
City of Nexus Hector Hsu (cowardly Cultist of Ecstacy tricked into being a council member) Micheal Hunt (Euthanatos)
@ThugHeaven
First off your name is hilarious for being the girl that actually reads the plot line.
I'm just glad I'm not the only one that did that though. I read EVERYTHING. Like a compulsion. Even the item descs. People hate that... and I'm just in this for the story.
@ThugHeaven
I just got tired of doing the same missions over and over and over again for no effect on MMO's. MU*s got my attention because the world changed and evolved as the players tried to one up each other... and inevitably got cocky, overstepped and got slapped down over and over. At least that cycle was more entertaining and left one with stories that not everyone had.
I dunno it kind of fit theme to me at least, the way my friends and I usually went about finishing a story.
I mean sure we supposedly helped stop an invasion of monsters from beyond space and time. Only we didn't. The bugs still got through, no one listened to a damn thing we said and Chicago is going to pay the price in a few months. One of my friends is dead, and while he got revenge, I got nothing. I'm ending the same way I'm starting; poor, alone, and on the run. Only now I have a dragon watching me. Not just any dragon but Lofwyr. THE dragon that is the reason all runners know not to make deals with dragons.
(Needless to say in Dragonfall I did not take him up on his offer.)

I didn't know where to stick this so we might as well have a generic thread to put in weird/cutesy/creepy stuff in, right?
Weird creepy and cutesy? All in one!
@Cobaltasaurus
Memory is a fun thing like that. Looming for specific information doesn't work so well, it's designed instead to have bits of information point from one thing to another.
If one thinks of it like a computer, one would think that minimizing the amount of space a thought or memory takes up would allow for more clear memories. It doesn't at all work that way though. The more memories each thoight is anchored to the stronger the memory will be because the more pointers there are to it.
Brains are funny things.
