I may be wrong, but it think City of Hope is currently the only oWoD game in town. Modern Nights shut down fairly recently.
There may be others.

I remember Jakob and Shane as Cai and Ripley, respectively.
I did like fighting the Revenant. It was the right challenge at the right time.
I suppose you're right, except for the dick-punch part.

I had two PCs on the Reach and I put some solid thought into "Why would these concepts I want to play live in this little town?" and would strip out or add things to their background as needed.
Clarice was a Lost Mouse looking for a place to hide.
Ripley was ... well, she fits right into a King novel, that's for sure.
Ah, Vera.
Ripley and Vera were exemplars in creepiness.
I liked Mass Effect: Andromeda. I'm disappointed that they are leaving it.
TIE Fighter is one of those game game-changers, so to speak. It really was one of the first games I played which had Primary and Secondary Objectives for missions, and it was a fantastic flight-sim. It was better than X-Wing as far as playability, and it led to the very cool X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter game, which was very enjoyable.
So, if Battlefront 2 isn't close to it, well, that's sad because TIE Fighter came out 23 years ago.
Anyhow, I do like The Witcher III a lot, but Horizon Zero Dawn is just so enjoyable it's hard to put into words. It's nice to hunt monsters down and investigate myths, but it's also really fun to use primitive weapons to herd robo-animals and robo-dinosaurs to their doom.

I'd argue coworkers should know what their coworkers make, especially in fields where pay is negotiated.
I'd argue that this as well, and in general.
Conventional MBA wisdom says that you should not discuss pay. This is because you don't want co-workers to be jealous of one another. However, this is also how corporations get away with disparate pay rates.
Conventional M.Sc. in Economics wisdom says that you should always discuss pay. This is because all labor should be making the same wages in order to properly apportion costs. However, if you do this, you cannot cut costs by providing minorities or women lower pay rates, thus giving greater profits to higher-ups.
See how this shit goes?
People need to talk about their pay rates because it is absolutely unfair that Sally does the same work as, but receives less pay than, Sam.
When you say "Bad Things," do you mean the complete collapse of the Eagles franchise, the historically-inconsistent play of the Flyers, the constant disappointment of the 76ers, or the karmic abyss of the Phillies?
Like, help me out here.

To be honest, Vampires are probably the easiest to pick up. You don’t really need to be an end-to-end reader, and there’s a lot of room for competent newbie concepts.
Fallcoast’s XP and hybrid system, though, makes things a bit of a dumpster fire. 1E was known for being broken, and last I checked nothing was done to compensate for that. 2E is light years ahead, but it has its own broken aspects.
I still love the games, though, and would play if I thought I had the interest or time.

Just a reminder that the first big DLC for Horizon is coming out in five days.
I haven't even made it to Daytower yet. Shhh.
(I am, however, Level 23.)
"This is a Space Marine game, but you can't play a Space Marine because they are way OP."
I'm with you on this.
I got a flu shot a few weekends ago.
Now I have the flu.
WTF, flu shot?

Not for nothing but I think it's okay to institute a policy of "you're not allowed to play a lunatic who is compelled to murder the whole world until and unless you prove you can handle it well."
Or -- OR -- maybe just institute a policy of "you're not allowed to play a lunatic who is compelled to murder the whole world."

So much for abstaining from RP indefinitely. The withdrawals were so very real. Only around for weekday, daytime RP most likely, though!
This is perfect for me, actually. I'm mostly daytime EST.
I'm over there as James.
The Last of Us. At least, it should be one of your games.
