Going to toss this out here, Valerian: City of a Thousand Worlds is a grossly underrated and yet enjoyable sci-fi flick. I like what they accomplished with it.

Yeah that trailer for the game is particularly brutal and was wholly unexpected. I expect TLoU 2 will be as emotional as the first game was. And it was one of only two games ever that made me feel like my heart was ripped out of my chest. -
RE: How important are rooms poll
I'll echo Theno's sentiments. Size of grid does not matter to me, so long as it is thematic and the rooms have reason to exist, and fit the setting.

Yeah I felt the level of excitement for the Avenger's trailer I wish I had for the Starwars trailer. -
RE: Good or New Movies Review
@sockmonkey I was surprised by how good it was actually. I think James Franco nailed his portrayal of Tommy W.

@faraday I agree completely. The best fun to be had in ShadowRun, as ShadowRunners is when you can come up with a team, or at least a group of people who can play at the same time as you so you can end up /as/ something similar to a team, at least familiar enough with each other's playstyle and capabilities that you can make a plan accordingly.
Agreed. The setting is extremely versatile. My tabletop group for Shadowrun right now involves four former Lonestar who formed a team with some of their more capable Confidential Informants to do work in an Equalizer-style of justice.

I want My Time At Portia so bad. But not on Mac. Q.Q
I have finished my review play for the game and I want to just note to anyone who likes the Stardew Valley/Harvest Moon kind of games - this one is going to hit all the right notes for just that kind of game. I think it will be a popular streaming game on Twitch too.
Now it is an Early Access game but I feel that it falls into that category of rare gems. It is a very well polished and content filled game as it is right now and should only get better as the Devs put more time into it.
And its only $20 on steam right now. A perfect price point for EA. I suspect it might see a price jump once it comes out of EA.
It also has a free demo.

There's Jedi in it. At least one Dark Jedi. Some space combat too. Pew pew. -

I could not stand Yennefer as a character and I'm glad that Wild Hunt addressed Geralt's compulsion regarding her.

I don't play it but my brother does and I like to sit and watch him play it. He is a huge DBZ nerd. -

Phantasy Star was an amazing series of games. I thought at the time that they were better than the Final Fantasy games being released on Nintendo/Super Nintendo comparatively. -
RE: Good or New Movies Review
@auspice The movie is very well done. And its not the kind of movie that seems like it would set up for a sequel but I would not mind seeing one if the director maintains his quality vision that the first one has.

RE: Cheap or Free Games!
@insomnia
Yeah but that made it unexpected in an FPS. Usually the game stories are pretty shallow or just secondary to the 'shoot people' aspect of the game. -
School Project Request
Hey guys, my cousin Bradlee is doing this 'around the world' school project. Part of the project is asking people in different states and countries to send him a post card with a simple greeting to his school's address.
If you feel like you want to help a kid out and kick out a post card I would appreciate it.
You would address it to:
Bradlee Browning
P. O. Box 162 Hamden, OH 45634Thanks!

RE: Good TV
Saw the debut trailer for Netflix's take on Lost in Space. It looks like it might be a pretty good reboot of the series.
