I spent an annoying amount of time looking into just what all might be needed to bump mummy up to 2e. Looks promisingly possible.

RE: Sin City Chronicles
Terrible news: Mummy the Curse appears to be written for nWoD, rather than GMC, DESPITE being written after GMC existed.
This means EFFORT will need to be made for them to fit into the 2e ruleset. I shall bite this bullet if allowed.

It's in the desert. Practically BEGGING for Mummiez.
I will even volunteer to staff it.

3Exalted is up and about, but it is Penn, and it hurts us.

RE: Star Wars: AoA Legends KOTOR RP
AoA uses Dahan's Dynamic Skill System, which was also found on SerenityMU.
Be sure to app in with a group for a free, fully customizable capital ship. Conversely, never ask for cybernetics to get put on your +sheet, because EFFORT.

@Jennkryst I tried Denver... a long time ago. I did not have a good experience.
Vulcan poofed, so it has gotten better. Aside from that, you just rinse and repeat. Runner Teams are wolf packs/vampire coteries/mage cabals, do player plots for eachother, get staff to hand out loot.
Aside from that, I get it. I still want to play a corper who moonlights in the shadows, but game policies say you cannot join NPC orgs (because once upon a time, people decided to just throw HRTs at other players who annoyed them, I think? Ruining everyone else's fun). With luck, the SR5 place in the works will let me do my chicanery.

I'm a huge fan of the Shadowrun 3rd Edition system for most anything modern and future, but I don't know how well it would work on a MU*. For a MU*, I'm a big fan of Ares.
Denver exists, but is wonky. Karma Pool makes things complicated.

Another reason I really like Eclipse Phase? You start with a pile of XP. Everyone starts with the same pile. This XP is used to raise everything, and the rate you spend it is the same after chargen as it is before chargen.
My issue with this is that this XP is also spent on other, non-permanent things. Which is why I want a way, not unlike SR5, where you can spend XP on cash for gear, or spend cash for XP. OR. Pile of XP, and Pile of cash.

WEG is, oddly, the reason the EU got weird. Everything in the films had to have their own backstories. But this is a debate for another place...
WEG or Cortex could work, I SUPPOSE. I'm odd, in that I want the system in place to both be fair (pre-and post-chargen-wise), but I also want the rules to have the same FEEL of the setting.

@SG Should have reminded them that d6 scales that way so when you level up enough, you can multi-action and do other cool things while climbing.

RE: What RPG SYSTEM do you want to play on a Mu*?
Eclipse Phase is fairly simplistic, using something very similar to Call of Cthulhu... roll d100, if you roll under your skill, SUCCESS! There are bonuses and penalties that raise or lower your skill up to 30 (I think is the cap but I could be wrong) in either direction.
Weapons are uniform... ish. A laser pistol is a laser pistol, a shotgun is a shotgun... and while they may have modifications, but those modifications are universal. So while one corp might sell a pistol with a smartlink, it is no better or worse (mechanically) than you buying a pistol from somewhere else and adding a smartlink yourself.

RE: BSG: Unification
@Ganymede It's not terribly hard. You are fighting robots! You are kind of racist against people from a different colony from you (I'm sure there is a list of what each colony's sterotypes are SOMEWHERE)
Not a lot of other things to pick up on.

RE: What RPG SYSTEM do you want to play on a Mu*?
I would love me some Eclipse Phase and/or FFG Star Wars, but because I am the worst of nerds, I would want something like HSpace for ship-stuff. Not COMBAT, because we'll use the book things for that. But the actual minigame of flying around and killing time. Maybe have secret eastereggs for the people who use it. I dunno.

RE: Fallen World MUX 1.0
@Derp The problem is, with the limited XP, you /need/ the custom stuff open quick. Want a Legacy? You only have so much time to get your prereqs for it and advance within it, so they need to be written up before so you know what you're doing. It feels like SW Saga, where you have to create your end-build first, and then plan out your advances so you can actually get there.

RE: Fallen World MUX 1.0
Because it is 2.0, you should be doing things to resolve your asperations and get all the beats, because XP. Like, when I was on Reno, my new-to-town werewolf started with 'find a pack'... so I found a wolf in a pack. Then it became 'join pack', which could not happen until 'Meet X', 'Meet Y', and 'Meet Z' was finished. All of this happend within the first week.
I don't know how this works with the XP cap that FW has, as you may stop getting rewards for your RP (which is kind of the whole point of the Asperation/Beat system)
