Look, it has a population of 130k ish, that could support 20 supernatural maneaters for a couple years!

RE: @Arx: Anonymous Messengers (Answered)
i'd be ok with anonymous messengers if you could use retainers or the criminal/social system to try and figure out who sent it. Using them to be a dick to people should carry the risk of being found out and taken to task publicly for being a coward, as that would not reflect well on you in Arx's culture.
edit: sorry @bananerz if this makes you take back your upvote, but the problem was that it wasn't fringe. It wasn't one or two people using condemn to be super horrible, it was a LOT of people - way more than we'd ever want to ban or even talk to - using it in a way that was fine IC, on the surface, but added up to a really unfun time for the target.
No one in the heat of the moment thinks "i'm sure several other characters to whom this issue is way more relevant are already giving X person shit for it". They think instead "OH! My character wouldn't like that!" Which may be true, and is fine, but when 40 randos a week are like 'fuck you and the horse you rode in on' it becomes a problem in aggregate.

the Begotten believe all supernatural beings (except Demons) are related to them, and as such treat them as kin.
Awww, poor demons

hey you know what, I don't WoD but I think it's great to see a game including some of the spheres other than the apparent werewolf, changeling, and vamp standard. Kudos!

RE: @Arx: Anonymous Messengers (Answered)
@vulgarkitten It's weird that Esera didn't get the same and she was the first high lord to decide on it, but then she wasn't in charge of the 'crown'. All the commoners had to look at Dawn and get their hate on. I mean, Esera definitely got hate at other times, just not over the teind.

RE: @Arx: Anonymous Messengers (Answered)
The reason condemn went away is because people are really keen on letting female leaders know when they don't agree, way more than they are male leaders. IE, a male leader voted to pay the teind and got like 10 disses, and Dawn also suggested paying it (but abstained from the actual vote iirc? doesn't really matter) and got like 40+. Per week. For over a month.
So until people can straighten up and act like they have some sense, probably no condemns.

RE: nWorld of Darkness 1E v 2E
my head canon is that these players are using staff as eHarmony. "I had sex with a werebat! ARE WE MEANT TO BE?"
"Yes, you should immediately add them to your Discord and harass them if they are in a room with someone else IC"

Goddammit, friend_07, stop trying to "fix" my issue with advice that doesn't work unless I am
- A spoiled goddamn toddler who is willing to make everything about me, and
- In possession of a body that isn't broken as fuck.
But thanks for reminding me, on what was starting out to be a cool, chill morning, why I continue to struggle with depression. Good job. Had a great weekend, but that shit's over now.
Ok but all I did was link you "two monks invent art" galleries! I AM SORRY

@thenomain it's almost like I said "seem" to indicate it was an opinion based on my experience.
It's literally one post above yours. Laziness in the service of wit, something something sportsball

RE: nWorld of Darkness 1E v 2E
multi sphere games seem dumb because of DARLINGS. I tried to play hunter and my background got denied because it involved killing a vampire in another town. I was told we weren't allowed to hunt ANY of the monster types the game supported, because otherwise that group of monsters would have reason to get TEH REVENGE.
I asked if the vampires in game were likewise not allowed to hunt/kill humans and my logic was not appreciated.

@ganymede Well, I did expect a response that was out of touch with reality. You got me there. Expectations fulfilled!

I honestly had no END of trouble with the pixel. I went through four of them before I gave up and bought a Moto X4 for Fi, and have been delighted with it.

RE: Let's talk about TS.
I find myself a little put off by sexual interests and such in ooc formats. It feels..weirdly player intimate, to me. When I do TS, to be frank, it's not really about gratification for ME. It's about the characters. I'm fine with a quick "this is the level of language I'm comfortable with, this is a hard FTB point/event for me", etc, but like a browsable list of wants and less-wants is decidedly not my jam.

RE: Let's talk about TS.
Who has time?! I mean rationally I know lots of people have time. I have done TS maybe 2-3 times in the last....6 years. Arbitrary number of years. Granted, I'm not RPing full time.
The rules are:
*it has to be part of a story or character development
*no weird ooc comments on it please, thanks
*no 2nd person posing
*no 'we just met and we are super in love now we are going to have four babies and do happy homestead rp" -

@roz i would upvote in agreement but i am NOT and you know why

RE: Character 'types'
I guess I am drawn towards characters that have a very bubbly, friendly, upbeat personality which hides varying degrees of pragmatism. Or ruthlessness.
And yes, I judge people for everything, though I try not to let it spill out into my outside voice, so much. I think anyone can play a slaver, or a racist. But if that's like...your type? Yeah I might start to assume you have some ooc leanings that way. Possibly this would be a bad assumption, but I still make it.
