Digression - it is an issue for ME because it happens to me all the time. Like, no, trust - if I am personally attacking someone, there will be no doubt.

This is way more of a personal attack than what they did. If you are trying to escalate nastiness, cool, go and do. If you aren't trying, just saying from an outsider perspective: you are escalating nastiness

Austin is an amazing, wonderful city. Four thumbs up! Expensive, but definitely not more so than SF, NY, or any of the others. I hope you own a car. Like all cities in Texas, public transport is kind of a joke.

Ignoring further attempts at derailment: I think a lot of it is the motivation and wherewithal to do ingratiating rp. Find some kind of hook, some sort of ego-stroking aspect of your character that you can use to get close to the people things hinge on, and get them hooked on rp with you.

I've had characters do in depth personal interviews for books/travel guides. I've had characters devise elaborate fortunes to tell for powerful people. Scherezade those mfers. Every rper is, at the core, a vain and undisciplined aspirant novelist.

Speaking anecdotally, I noticed (and commented) that there were WAY more PRPs during the siege, and I was happy since that lent it a bit more 'realness' for the people involved. But I definitely agree that having a way to tie them in/together that works better would have served to do more.

@Thenomain Not one person on our staff is incapable of dealing with pedantry, argument, or discussion - though we do shut a couple of those down in public channels (or pages, in my case) if it goes on too long or starts annoying other people. The reasons you listed are not at all what you were 'tacitly banned' for.

But, in this case, it's whatever. I think you logged on and made two characters and never rpd either of them, right? If you want to log one in and kick around with your friends, that's fine. I just don't want you logging on to arch me, because frankly you are kind of a boring nemesis.
