Alas, my kitchen is not very big. Trying to find a way to store air fryer, instant pot, and the countertop convection oven.

@Tyche Normally it's not an issue, it's not that hot where I sit. But my meds have also been shifted (again) this week, so even a little more water than normal can affect things.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
Work office being 80+ degrees, so I have to drink water, which makes me sugar crash to 60 - and they don't understand that 15 minutes will not be enough time to intake sugar and make my hands stop shaking. - And then they turn the AC on.

RE: Lifehacks
@Auspice That looks super tasty. I will have to get the fixings next grocery trip!

RE: Lifehacks
I have had my instant pot for like two weeks now. I need to start using it. Anyone have any favorite dishes they're willing to share?

RE: The Makeup Thread
@Auspice I have been looking at those things for months, wondering if they were just a gimicky trend thing. I will have to check 'em out.

RE: Lifehacks
I take my showers at night, and try to prep my work bag (drinks, making sure I have my short acting insulin and tylenol in there, etc.) I try to pack a lunch the night before, but on nights when I'm just too wiped out, I have a stash of frozen dinners I can toss in my lunch box.
I pick out what I'm going to wear the night before, and pick out my jewelry beforehand. -
RE: The Esports thread
I love watching Esports, esp. LoL. TSM has been real up and down. I would love to see CLG win it all up this split, tbh. I used to a fan of certain teams, but they've almost all made decisions that made me lose that enthusiasm, so now I tend to watch more to cheer on players versus teams. The team that has more players I like, I hope wins. (Also, I am sort of excited Jatt is back. )
I am super sad about the racist in Echo Fox meaning they're selling their spot in the LCS. Rick Fox and his enthusiasm for the game and always going to the matches to cheer on the team was charming. -
RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
I appreciate the support. Just freaked me out, because I hadn't had one this bad in MONTHS.

Two full on panic attacks today. Hands when numb, lips went numb, was sure I was going to suffocate. Whee. I am not so sure the Celexa is working.

RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
Going from 90 plus and sunny to raining and not even 70 - triggered my pain to Fuck You levels. Then I stepped on something I couldn't see and split the skin on my heel. And I have nothing real serious for pain.

RE: The ADD/ADHD Thread (cont'd from Peeves)
I wish someone had tried to help me figure out how to cope, when I was a kid. But 'girls don't get ADHD' was basically how I was treated. I didn't understand the harm I was doing to my grades when I would get hyperfocused on something that would do me no good scholastically. I'm sure my father's notion that it was that I was lazy and undisciplined and his 'solution' to that didn't help, either.

RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
I wish they would give me something halfway decent for pain. I've been dying for over a week now.

RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
Well, I got the lecture on Ambien, and how she won't give me a lot of things until I come off that (Though Ambien has been the ONLY thing that has ever given me consistent 6 hours of sleep in years, I'm not an addict, and I don't do the stupid things people talk about on it), so Celexa it is, for now. And yeah "Well, it might be the anxiety and depression, and not actual ADD" - yeah, I'm sure the therapist who works across the hall and sent me to you has no idea what she's talking about.
-
RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
Well, Celexa for the anxiety and hydro something or other for when I hit panic attack levels. If that levels out, we'll try wellbutrin for the ADD issues.

RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
Well, it's finally here. Day I find out if they will actually give me something to help. My therapist warned me she probably will want to give me a mood stabilizer versus something controlled like Adderall. It's time I dig in my heels to be my own best advocate. Wish me luck

@Admiral First birthday without my dad, who always tried to make sure I got a call or some cash, or something, just to show he didn't forget again (he forgot once). Before and after our estrangement, anyhow.
And thank you. It's worth a bit. Enough to make me smile a moment anyhow!
