Got a new car and I'm almost done packing and preparing for my cross country drive for a new job. It feels good to accomplish such a big task that has taken almost three weeks.

I highly recommend the first book in The Black Company series. In my opinion it is the best of the series and is also the shortest, so it is a quick read. Very dark setting and also trigger warnings for murder, mind control, war rape involving adults and children, and every other kind of human atrocity committed in a war. Thankfully, the protagonists don't commit any of these except for murder, and they're usually murdering the ones doing the other things.

On that note, I call dibs on the nickname "Croaker."

A naval rank of Captain is equivalent to the army rank of Colonel. An army Captain is the equivalent to a naval rank of Commander. It's because of how the titles developed over history. The US Armed Services avoid confusions between forces by just referring to the rank number O-1, O-2, etc.

You can do it! You're way smarter than me, and I managed it. Just brush up on your high school math. It asked me to multiply logorythms and all I could remember is that you add something instead of multiplying.

I do both. I have a plan for five or six meals throughout the week but keep certain things in stock so I can just wing something from time to time. "Oh, yeah, I got a can of salmon. I haven't made salmon cakes in like 6 months. Dinner solved."
