You have no idea... my principal jokes that we have to choose carefully because we only get one chance to kidnap a kid and escape to Canada.

RE: RL Anger
People having babies who shouldn't have babies (Drug use, other children already removed from custody, abusers...) popping out babies repeatedly and people like me who want to have a biological child can't.
It's just.... it makes me so angry.

RE: Weird or unrealistic gaming... stuff
I too, dislike the fact that we often feel pressured to respond to everyone. I get it! There are legit reasons! But yeah. I my friends who will let me one line at them in a conversation because... it's a conversation.

RE: RL Anger
You've already set up an account but 110% I suggest a credit union. Especially one as a part of an association that 'shares' ATMs. I started banking with a Denver credit union when I was 16 (it was my parent's) and kept it when I moved to Utah, and then Arizona. They had associations with other credit unions (It's called CO-OP) so that if you used a co-op atm the fees were waved. I could make deposits to my Denver bank, as well as with draws. Provo alone had 97 different ATMs in the co-op, so getting to one was never an issue.
So... yes. I'm a credit union flag waver. >.>

yes, but on like... all games. I've been Muing for almost twenty years and on my original game I STILL cannot remember when commands start with a + or a @.

@faraday said in Talking 'Bout Ares:
the average player doesn't actually know or care
There, that's what my brain did.

RE: Critters!
I have six kittens laying on me, though two are less laying and more reenacting WWE fights.
Life is good.

Calypso brings me so much joy I can not describe it. Her trust in us is complete. I know my elder cats love us and are happy to live in our home, but it isn't like what Calypso feels. It is so pure.
I'm going to cling to these moments as long as she will give them.

My uncle gave me some of his cheaper lightsabers because he brought pretty expensive new ones.
This is what ended up happening.

RE: Critters!
We just had a super random I-am-emailing-the-HOA-tomorrow-to-see-when-they-will-inspect-the-roofs-for-damage hail storm. It freaked the crap out of our resident cats (Calypso and Kiva followed me downstairs to watch from the bottom step as my husband and I stared at the dime sized hail while Lyra hid.) and their fear made me go check on the fosters.
Apparently the nook in our cat tree holds one mommy and four babies. Which is sad, because it meant one baby couldn't get in and went and cowered all alone in the tunnel.
They came out when I sat down all all begged for reassurance. I think Mama sighed with relief her babies were no longer smothering her.

RE: Critters!
LIE THESE BABIES ARE PERFECT ANGEL BASTARDS.
I never shared this family's story and want to now.
Mama Juno was caught and the shelter went and got her. They realized she was lactating and realized she had to have kittens out there. They worked with the people who caught her to release her again in hopes she would lead them to the babies. Juno never did though, so they trapped her again and brought her in.
Since she DID have milk they decided to see if she would accept a singleton baby they were hand nursing. Juno was the best mama ever and raised that baby till he was ready to weaned . The foster during this was watching and went 'Huh, she sure is getting chunky... I think she might be pregant.' Just to be safe they did the ultrasound and YEP. Mama Juno had 5 little beans growing.
So she was given over to another foster who specializes in birthing mothers and newborn kittens. Few weeks later these five were born.
The prevailing thinking is that she had kittens, and hopefully they are okay, and she got knocked up again in the few days they released her hoping to find said kittens.
So while she is ADORABLE and the best mama ever, this is why all pets (because she isn't at ALL feral) should be spayed/neutered. With this kind of virility she could have had lots more kittens.
(This will be her last mamahood though. She gets a nice retirement now.)

RE: Critters!
I put the tree in today after cleaning because it has been out a month since our last litter so hopefully all surface germs have died.
This is how I found them when I went in a second ago.
