    • RE: MU Things I Love

It has been a lovely week. I hadn't RPed for ~two weeks because of life, but this week I had break and a chance to reconnect with so many of Norwood and Kenna's connections. Each of their stories got moved forward a little bit and they also got a chance to be involved in other people's stories which was even better.

      <3s to everyone.

That is totally how I felt Friday. I was trying to see if a craft would work but instead ended up with black paint all down my front.

I love when I don't have to work because I get to see my husband in the morning. Usually we are two ships passing. He is gone to the gym before I get up, and I am gone to work before he gets home.

(The fact that he brings yummy things home is totally just a bonus.)

Our primary singing-teacher at Church did a little story thing all mixed up with these songs about Jesus and the Bible and I just wanted to beat my head against the wall.

I didn't. Instead I totally distracted my two sunbeams with my little magnetic necklace.

I absolutely refuse to do any Thanksgiving things with my students because they're too young to understand what really happened and I refuse to teach them false history.

      My IC Family.

Norwood's got some super solid players/characters around him (including all of the people who call him 'uncle' which is seriously the best.)

And Kenna's married-in-family is awesome, as is so much of her Whitehawk/Mercier, even if some of their players flux a lot at times.

In my eyes IC family trumps having traditional relationship RP.

I just realized my computer screen is shattered down in the corner.

      Blargh.

Spider plants are slightly narcotic for cats. 😞

I had to finally take mine to school and keep them there, and then over the summer I yell at them to LEAVE THEM ALONE.

You should Google it and find out.

      You are welcome.

    • RE: Why We Don't Make New Friends Anymore (Or Creepers Do Creepy Things)

For the last ten years I've met at least one Mu* related person every year along with sometimes their kid and/or spouse. I didn't set OUT to do this, but it happened?

I did cheat this last year and meet the same person I did the year before, but I'm okay with that.

Every single one of them have been amazing and lovely. I would 10/10 hang out with any and all of them again.

      This was literally last night.

      I googled bear fur underwear.

      For reasons.

I am getting $1500 to spend on my classroom, and $1000 needs to be on big-ticket items that can last more than one year.

I CAN'T DECIDE WHAT TO GET.

@JinShei said in Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.:

I am in pain, and I have to mark papers.

This. Plus I literally have zero voice. 26 7-9 year olds depend on me having a voice.

      I don't have one.
