Now that I have a grip on mental/emotional health, I want to get a grip on physical health.
So as cliche as it is to say you're going to get in better shape in the new year, I actually want to do that.
Which is seriously going to impact my mixology hobby.

No, it was my bedtime because I didn't want to of drank so much and also have a lack of sleep for the next day at work. If it wasn't for the grammar errors, I'd say I RP better while drunk.
@Seamus I've made it a point to close the MUSB tab when I've been drinking. Because I'll protect myself from reading something that'll seriously piss me off and I'll lose my filter of human decency.
I can however, RP just fine while drinking, so there is that.

A bottle of a local distillery's whiskey, which I'll likely be using for mixing.
A set of copper mugs.
A new bar spoon from Barfly(gunmetal).
A copy of Imbibe, a book regarding the historical accounting of cocktails from the 1910s and 1920s.
There might be a theme with what people got me this year.
So, I feel like I'm mildly interested in stuff people may of gotten this year for the holiday. For myself, I'm pretty happy with the bottle my brother got me this year.

I should note that my previous comment was in no way shaped that I could do better. I just didn't like them. Nor was it looking through nostalgia goggles. My reasons for disliking it was poor writing, disjointed editing, and nonsensical plot.
Also, I just supremely dislike Abrams directing, regardless of what movie it happens to be.
@Arkandel Yep. That's more or less been my entire take-away from these new movies. (mostly)utter garbage.
Find it hard to believe that making something worse than the prequels would be possible, and yet, here we are.
RoS was a half-baked movie of even more half-baked ideas. Whatever else it does(and more often than not, doesn't do)it just reinforces my belief that Abrams should never be allowed to touch another intellectual property ever again.
I still haven't forgiven him for the Star Trek reboot. Thank god that Picard is releasing next month.
My cat Bubba has been staring at it all month. I'm mildly shocked he hasn't thrown himself at it yet.

The message is more or less, the holidays can suck, but I feel like there's people here that pretty supportive.
Just want to make a note that not everyone will have the holidays to spend with. For a couple years that was me, so just want to point out to those that're going through that. I hear you, I know what that's like.
And for the rest of that are going to deal with family that we may or may not always get along with....
@Bananerz Well no one else's SO is playing in the group, so there's this idea that it'd be unfair if I joined in. I get that.
I'm not allowed in my SO's campaign because it's just for their work friends. So I get to sit on the couch, looking at the kitchen table forlornly.
And they don't have a cleric. That's my favorite class and they keep wondering why they keep dying(they're all new players, save the GM).
I have a 7th level Life Domain Dragonborn Cleric ready to go and nothing.

@Sunny And so am I. But I also think that what @Kanye-Qwest is suggesting is something that's needed. Because of previous conversations that @Auspice was alluding to earlier. The concept of 'Oh, I did this fast enough enough, so now I have X thing that was really easy to get, now it'll be harder for you, sorrynotsorry'. That's just one example.
I think once all the systems are finished, tested, and finalized, I think that's the most prudent move. But that's me. Hell, I've always assumed that because this game is in consistent beta, it was never meant to be permenant.
