@crawfish No, I haven't been checking my email every couple of hours for the two orders(one personal, one Arx cat related, and it's not even my characters because because mine are no name characters that nobody knows)though I will admit on a more personal note that I have just the place on my wall for it. Right above the Old Man's favorite perch on the back of the couch.

RE: RL things I love
I love building computers, but you know what I don't love? Dirty ones. But I also enjoy cleaning dirty ones. There is something very cathartic about cleaning dirty as fuck computers.
I posted on game that I had recently got a very new and very fancy new laptop for when I don't feel like sitting at my desk. But my old, something I had gotten in 2017, which was also very expensive at the time I felt still had some life left in it. And we aren't made of money, so I offered to give this one away once I fixed it.
And by fix it, I mean, clean it, replace the batter and NVME drive because I'm fairly certain those were the two things that had slowed the PC down considerably. I may also upgrade the RAM because fuck it.
This is what I had walked into.
Absolute filth. That exhaust fan though.
The backplate was probably worse. Ew.
Batteries really shouldn't be expanding like that.

RE: MU Things I Love
@crawfish This really makes me want to ask if you take commissions. I'd like something done of my Old Man cat who passed away in December that I could use for a tattoo.

RE: General Video Game Thread
This game is quickly becoming vaporware. A shame.
I'm other news, Persona 5 Strikers comes out today, so no one bother me for at least a week.

So basically, you enjoying seeing others suffer. Found the Lions fan.
Could be worse: you could be the Texans.
Or ERCOT.
That's right, I went there.
I think if we're applying ERCOT here, it'd be everyone they're slapping 17k bills with. If you want suffering, there you go.

RE: Texan MU*ers
I'm more concerned with anyone who's going to get raked over the coals with outrageous electric bills. I mean, I hope they're okay an all, but I'm angry on their behalf for getting bent over like that.
Deregulation works....except when it doesn't. Then it's terrible.

@jennkryst Shit, I'd buy that for the box alone.

RE: Muahaha
As someone who's working at the grindstone of their worldbuilding, the one thing I try to keep in mind is not to create too much world. Because I'm accutely aware of how players can just check out if there's too much.

RE: Muahaha
Is this thread about Gamestop stock?
If it is, I've been paying attention to that story all day. It's been fascinating.

RE: General Video Game Thread
Mass Effect 2 is ten years old today.
You're welcome.

RE: MU Things I Love
Not really MU related(since I don't really play MUs right now), but more RP in general related.
When you make a new TT character you get really excited for because you're playing a one-shot and you have free reign to screw around.

Is the Shopping Cart theory even real, it seems like a kind of tongue in cheek this is something we see everyday thing to make a point.
That's more or less how I've always read it. Wasn't inferring that anything seriously be taken regarding it. I figure that a story written on 4chan shouldn't be taken as some kind of great moral and philosophical thought experiment. For something like that, I'd just point to the Ship of Theseus.
I literally posted it because I was annoyed that leaving after leaving Target last week, someone left a cart directly against my driver's side door and I was mildly annoyed.
But really, it's the people that say jiff instead of giff who're the real monsters.

*ETA: Brown recluse spiders do not carry STDs.
No, they don't. But they will cause necrotizing fasciitis. Years ago, I had a friend that got bit by a brown recluse. The scar that goes up his calf is gnarly. Y'know, from where his skin melted off.

@silverfox I'm still put out that WORA is gone and not even as archives.
There was some true gold in there.

RE: Critters!
My SO recently got a meditation pillow.
Bubba has now claimed it as his. That adorable fucker.

RE: RL things I love
@greenflashlight I have lists of youtube videos of exactly that.
From a medical and scientific standpoint, I find that stuff fascinating.
