The roller would be stupid simple, tho we will see what the Talents do to it. Also, mild concern on how the system will work with RP situations, but then I'm way too Paragon.
Mass Effect jokes.

Getting bored is also human. I think it's the hard part of Adulting, working out what to do when you feel stuck. Do you throw yourself into thing after thing until you no longer feel stuck? Do you dwell on how you've changed and how that scares you because you don't know what to do next? Is it depression?
No answer here, but I also want to posit other answers. I could never force myself out to a bar alone. I shouldn't eat Chipotle every day for lunch but I love the hell out of it and will continue to until something kicks me out of the routine. You can be depressed and enjoy things.
Five months is probably a bit overkill, tho.
(I am reminded that I still need to buy the stuff for the embroidery I was going to do after my own run-in with the evil beast last year.)
Can you do that design in pink, on a hat?
You will be glad that in the next version of Changeling, each area has its own Freehold system. The up-side should be obvious: You aren't limited to emotions, but to what makes sense for the area. The down-side is that you have to create your own courts and court benefits. As of last known draft, you must (must!) have a way to share the rule, even if nobody else wins the brass ring; I'll be interested in how they enforce this, as they only made vague threatening boogyman noises in nWoD Changeling.

Vegas is VERY Spring.
I imagine that it's also very Winter (especially for those who live there) and Autumn (for those who prey on the unsuspecting). The only Court I can't imagine having a consistently solid hold on part of the minds of Vegas would be Summer. Ironic, considering the heat.
It looks like I never added Geist to the older system they're using, an older version of the code they're using on Reno. Working out chargen and xp costs for keys and powers would be the hardest part of that. The mountain of planning a whole new sphere in code is daunting.
Netflix surreptitiously announces Castlevania series. WUUUUUUUT?
The second half of the series must be the first half of the series, but experienced with the sets upside-down.

Optimism... is not my friend right now.
Believing that people can accept your sincerity and treat it with any amount of honor is an act of trust. I will put it this way, tho, from one person who repeatedly gets burned to another: If you don't try, you'll never know.
From one person who repeatedly gets burned to another, though: You can test the waters without wearing your heart on your sleeve. There is some fun in being a robot, too, when you've got a good bunch of friends who know better.
The pie's pretty good.
Get better, Surr.

I am going back to hating people.
It's easier.
Also, you don't hate people any more than I do. Life sometimes sucks being an optimist, doesn't it.
Here I am going to extensively agree with you:
I believe that the first group in the space gets the set. They pass it along to the next incoming group, and so on and so forth. This doesn't mean that an incoming group or person can't say, "Can we have it raining instead?" (To which most people will almost certainly say, "It wasn't earlier, but sure, it could be now!" Try to say yes before saying no.)
I also agree 110% that it's rude to enter a scene and not wait for a simple update. In my circles, we wait for a round of poses (assuming only 3 or so people to wait for), but the next poser tends to fill in. Pages are also quite a good way to send a basic situation report to incoming people.
It all starts with the people who were first in the play-space. They made the first effort, so I sincerely believe that anyone who arrives after should respect their initial set.

I will try to steer any RP away from public places on any game
This is too bad, because being able to find RP with new people and diverse interests gets people more invested in the game as a whole and increases the excitement of the player base, not to mention then their willingness to draw others, especially newbies, into the game's multi-tiered and various levels that make a game like this feel alive. It is a beautiful thing, but needs as many people as possible to buy into it.
That also makes the drive-by disruptions easier to ignore, as everyone can just shrug and get on with what they were doing. Or, and here's the even more fun part: These disruptions can be absorbed into the game as a whole and add to it. Not everyone is going to be willing to share their time this way, but not everyone in these drive-bys are this way.
@Misadventure said in Coming Soon: Arx, After the Reckoning:
i've never had a scene, spontaneous or not, survive that many people. Ever.
Back on Aether, we had this problem. I hesitate calling it a problem, mind, because people seeing others in public and rushing to join in and mix people up seemed like a pretty good problem to have. The players came from other large-scene games and what tended to happen was this: You knew what part of the scene you were in and reacted around that; organically people tended to eventually break up into 3s and 4s.
The problem players were those who reacted to everything, to every 8 or 9 people in the room. Social pressure did tend to help a little, but it does depend on the social grouping and the game culture, etc. I find WoD players to be more this type, trying to react to everything that happens in the room instead of what is happening in their sub-section, their scene itself. Pern and other Original Theme players don't seem to be this concerned about it, though the reasons for this are a study for probably some other time and certainly some other thread.
The point being that scenes this large can survive when they tend to become multiple scenes in one location.

Yeah, but the lashback against the horrible Dragon Age 2 situation and how Dragon Age: Inquisition didn't do as well as hoped, I expect BioWare to focus again on the K&M experience separately than the controller experience. I mean, look how just plain good Witcher 3 was. Did I mention how Witcher 3 was better than Fallout 4? Did I mention how Witcher 3 was better than Bioshock: Infinite. (Barely better than Burial At Sea, but better.) Did you know that Witcher 3 has a plot where you're breaking the hold of DRM with the help of GOG? I am not kidding.
Six more: The Last of Us Part 2.
Shut your dirty mouth. It's not like they've announced anything.
Oh.
Goddammit.

VIDEO GAMES? VIDEO GAMES!
Necropolis is fun in a short, kind of stupid, "oh shit oh shit we're going to die" way. Play with friends. Play only with friends. Playing alone is just kind of meh.
Has anyone tried Diluvion yet? How is it?
One answer is to be closely observed. By your friends, by your family, by your doctor, and by yourself. The medication is supposed to take a short while to build up and kick in, and in the meantime it's supposed to change how you feel. That's the whole point.
In rare occasions (rare enough that I've heard about it twice), starting on anti-depressant/anti-anxiety medication triggers thoughts of suicide. I myself thought this was bizarre until I asked someone who unbeknownst to me experienced it, and this is what he said:
The warning is because you're feeling better and you don't want to go back to the way things were.
That is, the medication is working and people are terrified about going back to not feeling well. Depression and anxiety is a kind of pain that we're not good at talking about nor understanding, though this thread is a beautiful example of people doing both.
I want people to at least try. Failure is horrifying, but not trying is also horrifying. "The devil you know" is an alluring asshole, and I'm well in the camp who stays with that bastard far too often.
