There's also a self-admitted chunk of the fanbase so offended by everything in V5 that they actually want to see WW tank
And what WW needs, and Paradox apparently has, is someone with enough social awareness to a) ignore the haters, but b) be aware of the context of the source material.
Then again, there is the occasional thing that The Internet(tm)--that is, a vocal number of people online--gets their collective underwear in a knot over that there is no action that will give a happy ending. c.f. Gamergate.

RE: Random links
I sincerely mean this: Correct me if I'm wrong.
But isn't consistency the job of the project lead?
Is it still Kenneth Hite for Camarilla?
I think the current White Wolf is trying something daring: Using horror in their games. While I think this is a screw-up, I'm going to apply the adage of malice vs. stupidity.
I don't know who else is writing for the Vampire 5e line nor their biases nor origins. Correct me if I'm wrong. If the lead designer is not up for the challenges then he or she should rightfully get the help of someone who knows what it's like to be part of a violently oppressed minority.
Like Bobotron, I'm going to roll my eyes and ignore it, but in our era of immediate feedback and online flash-mobs (in the worst possible way sometimes), I can see horror needing handled with kid gloves.
I'm astounded and impressed that they are trying. I hope they find how to consistently do horror without being insensitive.

Hold on, let me get out my megaphone....

Anyone who has been eyeing some of the Tell Tale Games and considering buying them, the company is delisting games for purchase in Steam but remain available if you have purchased them.
So if you want anything you better grab it.
There is so much good shit out there from Telltale. Of course mostly "The Walking Dead" and "The Wolf Among Us". No doubt someone will buy up this catalog for stupid cheap, but in the meantime, here you go.

Honestly, I don't notice, and I don't care.
Because forgiveness is what happens when we feel wronged.
If we didn’t feel wronged, there’s nothing to forgive.
I can sincerely say that every well adjusted person I know just knows this at a “that’s life” level.
Some day I will be as good as them.

Or I’ll be as good as Bill Murray, tho if I can be The Real Ghostbusters version I would prefer it.

Many browsers clear the cache if you hold 'shift' while hitting the reload button.
I'm not sure how to force it on mobile platforms.

Accepting the situation is something that I think too few people strive for. I constantly try to improve, and it frustrates me when I think I have no progress in this field.
Don't give up on it!
Well, no, because I try to have a mantra of "accept and understand". Forgiving isn't in there because that's something that will either come out of understanding, or the emotions will fade from moving on.
I have a short list of people I've not forgiven for things they've done, almost exclusively to other people, but I can still interact with them for projects and things that need to get done. Repeating "it just doesn't matter!" over and over in my head also helps.

RE: Good TV
@paris He should get used to it. Regular superhero comics are basically becoming promotional material for the movies, or limited runs and reboots trying to create interest in new films.
I think this is awesome, because we have more mainstream outlets for these stories. I imagine it will also create space in the comics industry for more comics. I don't know if the comics are getting more sales because of it, but I hope they are.

I forgive people on and off line when they take responsibility and show dedication to change.
How often that happens is /shrug
Same, but I'm learning what change I'm willing to accept is sometimes part of the problem. I don't think I'm the only one, as evidence how often I still hear people say things like, "Well if only they did something different..."
Well they didn't, so what are you going to do about it? Because at the end of the day, what happens next is not just up to them, but ourselves, and we have control of only one of those two factors.

Better still! The only other lock already had a key in it, so even if I did have a spare outside, I wouldn't have been able to get into the back door. (Depending; I now no longer have two keys to test this with, but many locks you can only have one key in it at a time.)

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
My key just broke in my front door lock and I had to break into my own place.
While I hate leaving even a single window unlocked, I am so glad I left a window unlocked.

I think we like other people. Mushing is social, and making friends online is incredibly easy.

I have also looked at Discord/Slack/etc. for ideas and mentioned it various times this conversation's come up. A lot of people just RP in Discord, so it's a good starting point for looking at the general paradigm.
What other kinds of places have people jumped too besides MU*s? Again, I've been out of the loop for a little while!
I think it's less that existing players have 'jumped to' alternatives, and more that many younger RPers start on those alternatives and never even try any MUSH/MUCK/MOO/etc. variant.
Hell, a lot of people did the IRC or PbP thing and never knew about the Mu* options. I run into more of these people every day.
The whole "what did them kids like?" doesn't answer the question, "what did people who weren't us like back in the day?"
That is, I still think we're asking the wrong questions, and fighting about things not entirely worth fighting about.
