Stan Lee's life ended on a high note. I am content for his contributions and extremely happy that the community—fans and actors and more—gathered around him with the movie studios tried to screw him over, and made him the star that yeah, he probably deserves to be.
Guess who has two thumbs and managed to land a Spiderman PS4 $200 deal and Last Of Us for $5 and Horizon Zero Dawn for $15?
No, don't guess. It's me.

It's not even December yet and I'm already tired of christmas music.
At where I work, we didn't put on Christmas music. Apparently our system needs restarted to fix a problem with the Sirius/XM box, and the other managers aren't telling this to the general manager or facilities manager, so it's stuck on the current channel.
This will be mysteriously fixed on December 2nd.
Sometimes I love my job.

Hulu is a dollar a month for the first year
This is a fantastic time for streaming. I will enjoy this era until corporations manage to screw it up.
More.
The way they showcase by striping the colors along different arms is brilliant.
So I watched the latest The Good Place and I am happy to report:
I was wrong, so wrong, it’s getting better every episode holy smokes!
I still think that a few episodes this season felt like filler but that sense of “what the fork?!” is back.
Go team cockroach!
Just in case the question wasn’t a setup for a hilarious picture (hey, I laughed!), a MOO was a kind of TinyMUSH with a built in console for coding locally in ... C, I think? Like MUCK, it could do some amazing things that haven’t been seen on the Tiny side until Ares and Evennia.
Sometimes we don’t follow the better path.

PS: Watch The Good Place; it just keeps getting better and better and I love it
I honestly think seasons 1 and 2 were better, but I haven't seen the latest episode. Things like "Jeremy Bearamy" stand out like Chekov's Gun; if they don't use this I'm going to be disappointed. And there are some sharp turns where it looks like the writers say, "We need to be going over there now."
Derek is a perfect example of this not happening, and the little touches for him are even better.
Oh don't get me wrong, The Good Place has supplanted Pushing Daisies (RIP) and Dead Like Me as my favorite surreal TV series, but season 3 feels like The Last Season And We Know It.
It's good to get out on a high note and finish your story so someone else doesn't finish it for you.
Looking at you, Firefly.
I tried for a long time to not be Thenomain, but that turned out poorly.
Well I really liked the idea that social currency was incredibly important, a facet that people give Eclipse Phase credit for. (And Fuzion Core came out right before D&D 3e and I think had a much better grasp of feats, but you can't win against the 800 lb, gorilla's art department.)
But here we are, 5 years after the first Cyberpunk game took place and we're making fun of Hasbro for saying "social experience is the real currency", mostly because the current socio-economic situation hasn't changed much since the recession of the 80s.
I mean, it has, it's just come full circle.
And so Cyberpunk is relevant again.

I will say that around CPv3 and Cybergen, Mike Pondsmith just seemed tired. I think being practically a one-man marketing team takes it out of you, and he had a family to take care of.
He's always been an incredibly nice guy to talk to for me, and I hope him all the dolla-dolla-bills-y'all from CP2077.
And from that:

[...] Cyberpunk v3 is officially an alternate timeline, as is Cybergeneration.
Which is kind of too bad because I liked the ecoterrorism of Cybergeneration, but I get it. "T-1000 Pre-Teens" didn't feel like a great fit for the over-arching Cyberpunk setting. It was a stark reaction to the Death of Punk in the 90s, but as punk styles, and in some cases punk itself, has come back with a vengeance I can see why they wanted to drop it.
CPv3 was...eh. I can see how R.Tal was trying to meld the grand sociology of Diamond Age into the game, and make deckers more integrated to table-top play, but I can't fault them from dropping this timeline as well.
I will be over-thinking this for a week.
I...I just learned about this!

Actually we have a new updated Cyberpunk 2020 edition coming up called Cyberpunk Red. There will be updates. It will primarily be Fuzion.
Red? RED? Get it?!
I'm at the same time nervous and excited with giddy anticipation. It seems to be planned to release alongside CP2077 of course.
Where have I been for the past 10 1/2 months?
@kanye-qwest said in The Makeup Thread:
Makeup is fun, and it can very much make you feel better about yourself. Everyone should be able to experience that, if they want to.
That's what I was getting at.
It's a pretty male-gaze thing that makeup is to make women more attractive to them.
When in reality it's the user's goal to do whatever the hell they want. Feel better, feel prettier, feel creative, feel silly.
Oh my gosh, it's just like clothes and tattoos and body-modding and...!
A co-worker hit his head a few days back and the welt was showing really bad the other day, so I let him borrow my base to cover it up.
I've never, ever felt regret for having base in my locker at work. It's mostly for spot cover, but I feel a lot better for it.

I know this thread is for being fancy with makeup, but for most guys, even being willing to use makeup for cover is pretty fancy, and I felt like sharing.

Worrying yourself into inaction.
AKA "Tuesday".
And other days ending in 'y'.
I think the problem with that expectation is that I've yet to see a consistent tone and outcome from licensing an IP.
Hell, we've yet to see a consistent tone and outcome from Onyx Path. Maybe for Pugmire?
I share your hopes, but I'm not holding my breath.
