I think it's safe to say that this foray into moderation is going to go through some growing pains and both posters and mods should be patient with each other.
That being said, I'd rather it go away entirely that continue the way it is at this moment.

I'm giving it a shot. I'm not big on playing sixteen but Riverdale meets Buffy meets It is just too tempting as a change from supers and isn't WoD.
The lack of staff alt transparency bugs me. Refusal to have any is often a sign of issues that have come up plenty of times here.

@Tempest I do, in fact, like Mimic (Exiles version only). And I've played him on one game years ago. I don't think that counts as being particularly obsessed with a character when I've never apped him on the game I staff at.
I'm definitely giving some thought to apping on this game and like to know what I'm getting into. If some of the most powerful characters on the game start off already taken before any players app, and there's no staff alt transparency, it gives me an idea of what to expect.

@Salty-Secrets @Enoch As far as power level goes, given that Exodus and a fully Phoenixed Jean are being played, that argument doesn't really have a leg to stand on. (I'm also assuming they're staff alts so correct me if I'm wrong.)
Speed, I don't get unless it's solely because Wiccan is banned. Likewise for Apache, Morph and Mimic (and if 616 Mimic is banned for some reason, does that mean Exiles version is too as his powers are slightly different?)

I find your choice of banned characters to be somewhat bizarre in a few of the cases. Care to explain your reasoning?

We did. But the point was in reference to having people use the wiki as a primary resource.
@Ganymede @surreality We tried. Once the character was created, all they had to do was type a command in game then C&P the resulting info into a wiki page. Done.
And half didn't.

@Tempest You are aware. Not everyone is. I can think of one person wanting to be a female news reporter at the age of 20something. We've also had apps referencing computers as if they were common so we like to make sure, from the start, that the setting is taken into account.
