Staff said death can't happen by dice roll so it sounds like it's standard.

That's what I'd like. Characters who are played by whoever can do a better job, as long as we avoid pointless blackface phenomena. As long as it's not a stretch, that's all I can ask.

It would be nice. Hollywood only has to look at Broadway to see that race doesn't matter shit.

If anyone is looking to app one of the Delinquents, keep in mind that there's a very good chances you knew many/most people before the Landing. Possibly for weeks, possibly for years depending on how long you were imprisoned. Coming up with histories with other people is a very good way to get involved.

@Lithium I've been there a couple weeks now and am carving out a place for myself. I've seen a bunch of new players create and fit themselves in. As more areas open, that should be even easier. PC Grounders are about to be a thing too.

Double post because I decided to elaborate a bit. First, let me say I've never seen the show and didn't even know they were books till I apped. So it's no bar to playing.

It's been one IC week. In that time the 100 Landed, set up camp, and explored. Some got captured by Grounders. Others rescued them and captured a couple Grounders in turn. There's been a ton of social/political interaction between character who like each other and even more between characters that don't.

You should play here. I also gotta say that between KD, BITN and now 100, I've been having a surprisingly good time playing mortals. Who'd have thought it.

    • RE: Do you RP to play a character, or get a character so you can RP?

Character is definitely most important for me. Probably half my characters don't work within the first 2 weeks so they get dropped.

    • RE: Something similar to WoD, but not quite

@Bobotron I don't care much about game systems. I just want to play Scion: the concept over Scion: the system. Hell, I'd be fine playing Scion with pure traits.

I love the concept though. I'd app on a decent Scion game.

@Coin Kyle didn't think Jack was horrible. He did what he thought was best for the family. So did Kyle. Jack couldn't help being a manipulative sadist with no morals.

      Fair enough. Still, so judgy.

It's not judgy if it's accurate.

It's called 'urban fantasy' and happens to be my favorite genre to play in. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of them.

    • RE: Finding roleplay

I get my best results by straight out asking people. 'Hey, RP?' works quite well. I don't mean a general question in the OOC room though I occasionally do that too but to a specific person either using their name(s) or via page. But I'm forward that way.

    • RE: RL Anger

There was this one guy and his wife who'd come into the store every so often. Fortunately, it would usually be just him alone instead of the two of them together. We not so affectionately called him the cat man. He (and his wife) smelled horribly of cat piss. Constantly. Every. single. time. My desk was a good ten feet away from the counter and any time he came in, I'd have to stop work and go into the back. Quite literally, my eyes would start tearing even though I'd position my fan to blow the air away from me. The boss never asked me why I wasn't working, it was that bad. I don't know how he managed to stand a foot away from him. And he and his wife together were more than I could stand.
