@DnvnQuinn - Since there is literally a blog devoted to the artistic quality of the dick pic, I concede your point.

Can RP be art?
I already regret this, but I am curious what folks think. Obviously not all RP is artistic or aims to be, but I feel, and have for nearly 2 decades (I blame White Wolf) that it certainly can be.
When I run a scene, I try and do my best to at least capture and evoke moods and images. If it is a horror game, I want to disturb and make the players a little uneasy.
Not going to write a long OP here, just getting thoughts.

Mage breaks my head. And with Subnet gone there's no easily organized resource to look at...
I might still take a peak though.
There's like, a book. That's pretty condensed!
Author's Note: tragedyjones has not even opened MtAw 2nd Edition, book may be hella big.

RE: Attributes or No?
Theno, you dummy, Storyteller used Perception as a base attribute. Your silly mistake has invalidated all your intelligent arguments. I am sorry, this is the internet.

RE: Marvel: 1963
What about FCs who are traditionally on teams together (since this is 1960s marvel, let's take the OG Avengers. You have Hulk, Thor, Iron Man (old suit), Ant-Man and The Wasp. Of these, there is a massive power differential, and yet everyone can still be relevant.

RE: Shadowrun: Modern
Shadowrun, is, to me, the sum of its parts and yet not. Because some of those parts are things I don't even know about.
It is, yes, the core tagline: "Man and Magic Meet Machine". I enjoy the juxtoposition of high fantasy elements alongside an evolving sci-fi and cyberpunk core. I enjoy the unique things - Dragon CEOs, elven nations, and a hardline spiritual and environmentalism aspect.
That said, there are parts I don't as much care for - the treatment of American Indians feels a bit out of date, I suppose. Things that felt super sci-fi are now less so. Drones, longtime features of the setting, are becoming ubiquitous in reality.
Also, I prefer my shadowrun to be 60-70 percent "pink mohawk". That is, less srious and punishing and more escapist power fantasy a dark underside. There is grim and grit and grime and horrible things happen, but I like being able to have some flash and high octane adventure as well.

Will reply in depth to this excellent question when I get home, @Thenomain

RE: Comics Stuff
Magneto was related to the Maximoff twins for the same reason Norman Osborn and Flint Marko were briefly related: Hair.

Why would I read the thread? Has anything posted in the history of MSB ever been worth reading?
Who are you, again?
A girl has no name.

RE: CoD - Victorian - Penny Dreadful-ish.
I remember they had hired my ex-gf to design their spirit world and then just removed her from the process but apparently kept her work. That is my one bit of dirt on the game.

@Roz What wut? Pietro and Wanda aren't Magneto's children any more?
Uhm, what about House of M? Age of Apocalypse? What the hell, why are they shitting on 50 years of history plus big fairly recent big events based explicitly on the premise he was their father?
Is making headlines at all costs that important? Do these gimmicks actually work?
Up next: Peter Parker murdered Uncle Ben in an act of insurance fraud to fund his scholarship!
Settle down, Beavis. First of all, their being Magneto's children was a retcon in the first place. Second, Wanda has the power to rewrite reality so she can literally retcon herself.

RE: Marvel: 1963
I've yet to see an awesome OC on a superhero game anyway.

Yes, it was called The Greatest Game, it was made as a 'fuck you' to TR, and was Victorian Age Mage/Proximi/Sleepwalker/Mortal. And yes, it was created and run by Spider and Shaft.
I love how crystal clear their opinion of themselves is, right there in the name.
That quite literally got a spit-take out of me.
It is almost, but not quite, as good as my perpetual in development Reach Replacement.

RE: Core Memories Instead of BG?
I am late to this thread and just wanted to say, before I read it, that by default, the Chronicles of Darkness core rules have a section for "5 important questions" that are designed to flesh out a character and create their customized breaking points.
In tabletop, at the very least, it works wonderfully.

RE: CoD - Victorian - Penny Dreadful-ish.
Didn't The Great Game also face a tide of outcry and revamp into a modern game? Or did I make that up?

I've not actually been in a scene for over a month now I think, if that makes you feel better.
No. Come back, Olsen twin.

RE: Fallout 4
So Fah Habah releases tomorrow. I am unsure if I want to play it on my current Survival play through, or as my high level post endgame bit.
Also, Survival mode is fucking brutal, especially with my Str/End of 3 each.

RE: What are you playing...?
I did get to kill everyone on the game this past weekend, that was fun. They got better though.
