@Thenomain What games have you added Promethean to? Asking for a friend.

RE: Silly things you'd been tempted to do on/for a MU*
I had a character on TR who, for maybe a week, I would only pose in over the top film noir style narration. I eventually lost the ability to keep it up and I doubt anyone was happy I was doing it.
I still want to try it again sometime.

Alternative Formats to MU
I am curious what other similar, but not MU based types of formats exist, or that people may have tried.
I am tinkering with the idea of a multiplayer persistent game using alternative formats, possibly linking multiple resources. One idea I have is to combine a game with a Wiki, a sub-Reddit, and a Discord server, where staff can use Google Drive to track character sheets.

RE: Status: City of Fog and Blood?
I checked the wiki to grab some stuff before the death of Mechanipus and it looks entirely blanked out

Jackson Rio. The Reach.
I made the character with a fast blaze of glory in mind. Start fights. Be crude. Never under any circumstances have Defense to use. Sure, there was depth to the character but I had no idea it would survive long enough to see the light.
Years later, nothing killed him and he's held pretty much every Court position at one point or another. Had way too much fun, met great people and even sucker punched a horse. Good times.
Dawson Bryce. The Reach.
Made a broken soldier sort. Meant to be a Ghoul. Next thing I know, he's not crippled and now he's a Wizard. Brother to a horrible Vampire. Best friends with a Monkey God and a disgruntled, ultra burned out cop. So much drama ensued but it was all fun right up to the end. Then it went down hill. Fast. Great ride though and made me fall in love with Mage.
I've had a lot of characters but those two are the only ones I've tmteally put that much time into.
Wait was there another Bryce sibling? Because the only vampire I know was awesome.
Also, weird that both of those PCs were known to RP with me!

@redjellybean Yeah, Stone was my first approved PC on The Reach. Professional murderwolf and source of drama.

@tragedyjones I thought your werewolf was pretty nifty on TR.
Which werewolf? I had a few!

RE: Good TV
I don't watch 3/4 of the CW Supershows, and am behind on the one I do watch (Supergirl) but I loved the Crisis on Earth-X crossover. Super comicbook fun.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
Every month, the last day of the month, my apartment complex e-mails me at 1:50 am reminding me to pay my rent, and yet the balance is never payable until the first.

RE: Characters You Enjoyed Playing
My favorite all time MU characters:
Marty Bryce, The Reach 2011-2013ish
Daeva. Invictus. Harpy. Kingslayer. Troll. Proponent of Daeva Bingo. Victim of multiple IC torporings. I miss telling the praxis just how fucking stupid they were being at any given time, and also using retainers to maximum effect, both strategic and comedic. Also, he had a cool brother, a scary sister, and a waifu.
Jay Bolton, Eldritch
Jay was my first full 2E requiem character to get much play. A creep, a weirdo, a hacker and an anarchist.
Doctor Doom, Heroes Dreams
I loved being the bad guy here. Besides antagonizing everyone from the JLA to the X-Men to the Silver Surfer, I also adoptrd Tera of Markovia and founded a Legion of Doom

RE: Status: City of Fog and Blood?
I think you should do it, @Cynan. The world needs a good unisphere requiem game. And, hey, the server is still up, iirc. Make it happen.
(ps this is Pike)

RE: Staff and ethics
I always try and imagine a game is like my table. So I will do my best to have a pleasant, amused relationship with my players. I will crack jokes and make fun but I also take no shit. I don't like to lie or mislead players but I kinda don't take MUing that damn seriously.

@tragedyjones The Exalted sourcebook Shards of the Exalted Dream contains a game that's basically a fighting game. It's difficult to explain the mechanics; it's basically Rock-Paper-Scissors, except there are five or six different categories of technique, each of which trumps one different other kind of technique and which goes to roll-off against any non-trump situation. It's very fast, and much simplified over any White Wolf game to date.
Cool! I only briefly flipped through that book, once. Never saw that part.

RE: POLL: Vampire Requiem 2E Settings/Theme
If you can automate beats from Conditions, etc, your xp will be a lot easier.

RE: Good TV
Mr. Robot proves, again, to be possibly the best goddamned thing on television.

RE: Crediting code, systems, etc.
I, for one, get offended when a game doesn't use my material.
