The Game Game
It has been mentioned on more than one occasion that one game is in competition with another game. I have never really seen it that way. I look at them as just a different book. It might catch my eye or not. What are the thoughts of the hive on the topic?
So we won't derail another topic.

@Arkandel The answer that pops into my head is just have everyone treat her like any other female employee would be treated?
This.
If she is presenting as female and identifying as female. there should be no more said about it. It is not really up to you, as the employer, to announce the gender identity of the employee. So in this case, if it talks like a duck, walks like a duck, looks like a duck. It's a duck. That's the best advice I can give. -
RE: Section 14 Teaser
I will second that. I was looking forward to it. I wanted to live in the crazy world that is Lovecraft. I still watch "To Cast A deadly Spell" often just for the wacky fun of it.

Nice. I am a huge Spectral fan.

@Seamus That also sounds similar to the basis of the Wild Cards setting, IIRC.
Yeah. It has a LOT in common. I had not been aware of WildCards at the time. I was basing it solely on the "Jumpstart" from Malibu comics. Which in the end had a Mystical Source, but still... I thought it would have been fun. I've also tinkered with a Code 8-esque setting, and The 4400-esque setting. I Just end up going, eh... and scrapping them.

Thank you for the recommendations so far!
I would strongly recommend you find a team of people and try to build your own game. There are a lot of resources out there. As you can see there is a small amount of games out there, so another wouldn't be entirely unwelcomed.
I've been thinking of taking a stab at this since no one seems to be interested in my sci-fi games My current thought is a near-future superhero game based on the Tiny Supers RPG and set in the "Gallantverse" campaign setting. I'd use either AresMUSH or Evennia (most likely Evennia). The only thing holding me back is I am not sure how well a game not based on Marvel or DC would be received.
Once upon a time, I wanted to make a Super Hero game, which took the concept of what happened in Malibu comics, but on a global scale. One day something happened and people were given powers randomly. Now here is the game. I think you will find that any superhero game with a cohesive theme should be pretty good to go.
I know I ran a game based off X-Men: Evolution way back in the day... I think it hung around for about 2 years before I closed it down.

No Mr. Developer, I am not wrong. When I show you that I am running the test patient through the measures, and the test patient passes on a measure because you have it looking for Less than or Equal to, and it should be Less than only... I am not wrong. You did not just 'copy it from the specs'. You did it wrong. You will need to fix it.

Irk. Being tired, come into work and find 30 emails over the fact someone doesn't know how to do their job. So a client escalates an issue, that can be fixed by them clicking one button that says exactly what their issue is.

It's unfortunate and all, and it sucks when someone gets reduced to that, but I think it's more apt to rage at the people who abuse people to that degree more than get annoyed with them for being sniveling cowards and all...
Well his current release date is 2045. So I am satisfied he will learn his lesson.

I think we can all agree that this is horribly abusive.
You have no right to access your significant other's personal accounts. None.
Your spouse is entitled to privacy. Period.
If your spouse is not forthright about how or where they spend their time, that is an issue; however, that issue may and should be resolved in ways that does not require them to give up their privacy. It is theirs inasmuch as their body is theirs.
I wish people had more dignity than turning themselves into simpering, sniveling cowards, but here we are.
I couldn't agree more. When I first joined the family over 10 years ago, she was.... shall we say in need of some help. With some careful guidance and encouragement, she went from a person who had no drivers permit, to someone who finally got herself a job, a high school diploma, a job, her own car, and some savings. The destructive influence of her ex still lingers as we are having to do with the psychological fall out on the children, but I am sure, given time, they too will become productive members of society.
All though the youngest one is a wild child, so we always say "Saving for both college and bail bondsmen" where she's concerned.

Pet peeve: Couples sharing their social media accounts. The "Nick and Laura" Facebook page kinda deals.
Ugggggggggghhhhhhhh those are the worst, because I always kinda feel like that happens because one of the two wants to monitor the other's activity.
This happened with my Sister-in-law. Her boyfriend at the time was demanding access to all of her accounts, they had been together for nearly 13 years. We discovered some bad shit about him and he's out of the picture, but he used to get pissed off when we would say "Not talking to you asshole, mind your business." Then he would block her brother or mother on Facebook, only to make her have to go back in and unblock them.

SystemIt is a report type that all Federally Qualified Health Centers must attest to. We had a minor snafu that I discovered and had to engage development to correct, but in fixing that, something else broke. And the cycle is never ending and we have to get it ready before the 10th as clients must report by the 15th of this month. So it's eating up my life, soul, and general energy... So... hate it with a passion.
