    It's live, and it's spectacular

Reading through for something to watch, and this has me chuckling. A Vulcan named T'Pau. 😃 Picard it is.

Right now, it's Shoresy. Also, The Next Thing You Eat; I love David Chang's documentaries.

Apparently I'm a terrible Canadian because I've not heard of Shoresy but I'm going to watch it now! Thanks @Ganymede

Also, it's not TV but what I've been watching this weekend is Brandon Sanderson's BYU writing sci fi and fantasy series on youtube. Free, highly recommend. I've learned a great deal to improve my writing.

Somebody Feed Phil has a new season up on Netflix. That's my go-to show for restoring my faith in humanity. Plus, the bits of Yiddish he puts in just delight me, and the food generally looks good.

I am Canadian too, so I have to recommend Letterkenny as a prelude to Shoresy, seeing as how the latter is a spin-off of the former.

Obi-Wan Kenobi might have started slow, and the first few episodes definitely had their flows...

... but what a goddamn finish. Damn.

@arkandel More Deborah Chow, less Robert Rodriguez? Obi-Wan was good. It started slow but I liked it, I also liked the movie I Think We're Alone Now (which the others I shared it with found it slow and boring).

I'm just a surge protector doing my job, sir.

I'm on season 2 now. It's fucking brilliant. Letterkenny

Season 2 is where it breaks out. Season 6 is when it is at its best.

@Ghost I felt the second half of the season was better than the first. Maybe it's because Strange New Worlds spoiled me, but it didn't seem to hold up to previous seasons. For the most part. As I said, the second half of the season picked up for me.

Well, to clarify, the first episode was really good. Then I feel it started to dip a bit. Then it picked up again and got good.

For me, Strane New Worlds just ruined other sci-fi shows. I thought the first season was a slam dunk. The most I've enjoyed sci-fi since TNG.

Brave New Worlds was absolutely chef’s kiss. The way it handled that long-debated what-if nerd question was brilliant.
