@Duntada Haven't I sufficiently demonstrated by now how low my standards are? Sheesh.

@Bobotron Yeah, that's true. It just makes it really hard to portray them as ever being the underdog, you know? Sure, we always know the stars of the show will win in the end but it takes some of the tension away when they're the monsters other monsters consider their bogeymen.

What I didn't like about the Originals' concept is that the sheer premise was that this family of extremely powerful ancient vampires - one of whom at least is basically unkillable - went to a city they really wanted back but for some reason they didn't simply take over right away, other than 'it'd make for a boring show'.

The politics between different supernaturals were fun while I was still watching though.

That's a new one. People sometimes complain because their neighbor's dog was barking too much but I've never heard it the other way around.

I've thought about spawning pages but it makes it tricky if I'm paging while in RP (i.e. quite often) to keep track of everything by having to switch tabs constantly.

Pet peeve #48: Players passive-aggressively promoting their own numeric roundedness as a sign of good roleplay as opposed to everyone else who's obviously a powerhungry twink.

@Wolfs I don't really care enough to block anyone. The worst people around here also happen to be the ones I get most of my work-day lols from, blocking their posts would be terribly counter-productive (or plain productive as my boss would probably call it).

@skew I spawn windows, set them so they don't flash but I still have the option of going over later. And if for any reason I decide to chat while doing other things - such as during a scene - I can do so without contaminating its backscroll with channel spam.

@skew The one thing that's always kept me from Potato is the as-you-type spellchecking. That and spawned windows are my dealbreakers.

Isn't the easiest way to simply remove all CG points of any kind and have one universal currency for everything? Uniform cost raises for all attributes and stats.

@Misadventure nWoD 1.0 has the same issue to a smaller extent. CG freebies buying, say, the power stat are a far more efficient way to raise it than with XP later on.
