@magee101 Or impossible. You can't clone yourself in real life as much, but Life is one flexible Arcanum.

Okay, now we get to the important questions.
Is boning your clone incest, or masturbation?

      Yes

Characters are ENTIRELY extensions of the players, whether it's sex or not.

      Okay, let's test the hypothesis.

Folks, please be honest (if you want to be). When it comes to TS how much are your characters' preferences typically an extension of your own OOC ones?

I don't mean that just in the vanilla way - i.e. that they have the same sexual orientation as you do - although that can apply as well. More specifically, whatever your kinks might be, do your PCs tend to have the same ones or not?

To add to @Ghost's question - do you let your partner(s) know you're logging and do they need to grant permission before you share those logs with third parties?

Since other threads were getting bombarded, this is the one where TS-related stuff that's not usually asked will be moved to.

Folks: I will not hesitate to lock this thread if it starts to become a dumpster fire. Be nice. It's good to discuss sensitive topics but do not judge and do not get personal.

I'm moving most of the off-topic posts from other threads to this one.

@Ghost Huh, I wonder what those are. I'm a pretty open individual so I never have problems with answering questions to the best of my ability or giving my opinion.

Folks, let's please take the generic TS discussion to a different thread. This one is for Firan, and I didn't want it to go off topic (which I apologize for doing).

Once a suitable thread exists I can move the posts to that one instead.

@magee101 You... do understand that not everyone engages in RP of sexual subject matter to fill their RL need for sexual stimulation/inspiration/contact/release, right?

I considered making a thread with questions like this, stuff we don't usually... ask. "What do you TS for?" would be high on the list.

But I'd be tempting fate there.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 PC release date is November 5, 2019. That’s right, we can expect the open-world cowboy adventure game to barrel onto PC this year.

      Damn right.

It's the large number who admit to playing on Shangrila that's more shocking.

@Packrat IMHO that's still an improvement. I've seen combat scenes in nWoD that literally took 5 hours of nothing but rolls - not even poses (or just quick one-liners) - which just kills my interest in being there at all.

    • RE: Good TV

You kids might be focused on those fancy new hip shows and the latest cool series but may I interest you in season 2 of The Kominsky Method?

Yeah, that's right, the character-actor equivalent of The Expendables with a star studded cast that'd have rocked the box office in say, the early 80s; Michael Douglas, Alan Arkin, Jane Seymour, Kathleen Turner... it's all here!

I love it. The whole thing is based on the friendship between two old guys in what's basically a pretty basic excuse for plot (a guy's wife dies, an aging actor's career is going nowhere) that's there to justify witty dialogue, great delivery and just amazing acting.

How active would you say the game is? I see a lot of action on the administrative end (which is good) but is there enough RP to go around?

    • RE: CoD Ancient Rome game...

I think you're on the right track here. Historical accuracy doesn't work on MU* anyway since not everyone is an expert and players shouldn't struggle too much about menial details of everyday life - plus I like your emphasis on giving mortal women a bit more agency, too, since they'll account for a large portion of the playerbase.

As long as you can pull up an 101 about where the setting stands (are there washrooms? what do people wear? what are the rights of Roman citizens versus other ethnicities?) you should be fine, and you can focus on bloodsuckers versus toga-wearing werewolves or what have you.

    • RE: Serious Question About Making A MU

@HelloProject You don't need a full combat system (or even stats for that matter) to have a game. You barely even need a grid, unless of course you want to have one.

What you need is the inspiration to run said game, a bit of money and technical know-how (or assistance) to actually run it, and the willingness to sink time into it. That's it, in exponential order of importance.
