I also want one that isn't... just... 'real world + supers'. Like, everyone makes harry potter jokes for mages, or twilight jokes about vampires, or references how they are from X, Y, or Z big city. I want nameless locales, like the city in the Matrix films, or in Underworld. Specific details don't matter. Which is sort of the ambiance I was going for with my MEGA CITY ZONE and GOTHIC VILLA and everything.
I regret not being able to play a Force Pokemon Master, because EotE, not F&D, but I'll take it!

This, really. I try to play monsters, but a lot of their monstrous...ness is unsees often, because everyone else who wants to be white hats will strait up murder my character if they knew.
But then, I like playing borderline antagonists, since those spheres are never actually open.

Interesting. Double interesting if you take into account the 24h 40m Sol for +time, so day/night is in flux.
There is an alt setting idea I had that was an amalgam of oddities. Take oWoD end times... like, after the ending. The Earth is no more. Sprinkle in a combination of Dark City, Everworld, and Valerian... reality is now a series of pocket realms. There is MEGA CITY zone for city folks, GOTHIC VILLE for others, WILDERNESS for Woofs, EGYPT LAND because ALL HAIL MUMMIES, and so on.
Use CoD rules, with tweaks where needed.

@zombiegenesis Like I said, we don't need a full, immersive chargen. We need a +shhet, +rool, and +xp. Maybe item vouchers (continues to look longingly at SR Denver's voucher-fu).
Folks can say what they want in chargen, and I will +stat/set it all myself after checking the numbers. Or, THEY can +stat/set themselves, and I will comb the numbers to make sure the math is good.

You don't even need a 'if, then' chargen. You could get away with a City of Hope-esque, 'make the player do all the work' style, amd have staff check all the numbers at the end.

Yo, she's right. There's a politics board for a reason. Some of us do want a break from otherwise endless political rants.
She can be right about there being a place for things. And you can want a break from the politics talk.
But that doesn't mean I can't be annoyed by the idea that @Derp saying 'people ignore politics' is somehow a politically charged statement that, in a hilarious display of irony, @Sunny says can only be said over there, in a corner of the forum she can ignore.
It is a real world peeve that I have. It is not exclusively limited to politics (see also: science and/or religion).

General staffer is where I shine. Job busywork and chargen MATHS are the bees knees. Scene running is also possible, but I usually just do ALL THE JOBS so other, better plot staff can run stuff.
